Really hoping to be able to just stop by in the afternoon and grab like a pack of each. It doesn't seem like this should be that hyped of a release.

That seems like wishful thinking. A Tired Hands and Omnipollo collaboration seems like exactly the type of thing that would create a hyped release. The only thing that might help is the fact that it's a holiday weekend and a lot of people are out of the city.

Am I the only one that doesn't think that beer sounds very good? I guess I could see where that won't stop people from getting hyped about it though.

I really enjoy tropical/mango forward IPAs so this sounds up my alley, not sure about the chocolate but I'm pretty trusting in these brewers and whats the worst that could happen? It sounds like an interesting one-off collaboration that you should at least try if you like any of the brewers beers.

Would love to know if Debbie Downer will be hitting the taproom early. @Kanger do you by any chance know?

No I mean, I agree with you, it sounds like something I would not enjoy. I'd want to try it just because I'm intrigued, but I would never buy a 4-pack, let alone multiple 4-packs, without trying first. But people love those Milkshake beers at Tired Hands, and NYC is close enough for the TH crowd to drive up for (they did for Oat Overdose). So I'm guessing we'll see a lot of Philly-area people.

EDIT: Someone offered up Loons for Debbie Downer on Instagram, so I'd say there's demand...

Also curious if this will be on tap at the brewery or around town. I'll miss the release and could trade for it, but would prefer to try it on tap.

That's what I came here to say. Tired Hands mafia blew that release up. Also I'm sure there are number of people too far away from Tired Hands that have been itching to try their milkshakes and see this as opportune enough.

And I for one would definitely go in on multiple four packs without having tried it. Maybe I'm reading too far into it, but I think it's telling they dumped a batch, though maybe they dumped terrible beer to make beer that's slightly better. Releases have also been on fire lately, so much good stuff.

I'm sure I'll love the taste of this, I loved OVB Creamsicle by Bolero Snort (thanks to @tynian16 for that share), but can we talk about this in the context of the current state of craft beer, or rather, craft flavored malt beverages? Is it just a self-parody at this point?

I'm definitely intrigued on all 3. I personally enjoy their west coast IPA when I had it on tap . If my plans work out I might be able to swing this one. Just can't really tell if this will be an easy one because of the holiday or not.

Can someone give me a reason to take any of the OH IPA?

I'm crossing my fingers that they increase to MoGa limit or will at least be bringing the girl to her first can release to max out on that.

Maybe they'll tweak the recipe, but otherwise I would not pick up any of this. Your plan to get as much MoGa as possible seems like a great one.

I thought OH IPA was a good beer after it sat in the can for several months in the fridge, that it really took some time to hit its stride.

I actually liked OH IPA. It wasn't mind blowingly good like some of their beers but if I wasn't in the Bahamas this weekend I'd pick up at least a 4 pack of it.

If OH IPA was released by Bronx Brewery, nobody would go out of their way to buy it. Just sayin'...

I guess they need to get rid of all those printed cans they bought. Look for Forever Ever to follow.

If it makes you feel better the girl usually drinks half of my stash of OH beers I just don't subject her to waiting in lines so she actually continues to enjoy the whole craft beer experience.

It seems counter intuitive for an IPA to take several months to hit it's prime but if I end up with a few cans maybe I'll let one soak in the fridge for an extra few weeks before opening it.
