I agree they make great stouts but its once every 2-3 months. Jackie O's and Cycle have 3-4 a month. Just wishing they put stouts out more often

I don't drink the big 3 trendy trading styles exclusively. I look for a great helles, kolsch, porter, ESB, even a cream ale from a brewery.

Well I like when they mix them in also. Folksbier sounds good for you if you haven't had their beer. I've enjoyed their german style beers

I'd like to try them sometime, hopefully they get some taps around town. Barrier makes just about every style world class so no problem there. I really like Montauk lately - I enjoy their ESB, IPA (like SN hop hunter but with some malt) and even the summer ale. $10 6/pks helps too. Peekskill and Newburgh make great cream ales. So there are great beers being made in the area besides IPAs but too many breweries are only focusing on anything DDH DIPAs and half assed stouts/sours. Rant over, carry on talking about IPAs.

I'm usually disappointed by Trillium IPAs. They have some gems don't get me wrong, but I've found their DDHs to be harsh or burny and many of the standard offerings (Mettle, Scaled etc) to be very unremarkable.

If the first one is a double batch the trend could continue

Considering the common thread here, as much as I love being a local OH fan, I'd have to go Trillium>OH. I've never had anything from Trill that didn't blow me away, yet I sometimes get underwhelmed by some OH offerings, but that could also be because I've had more of it. That being said, earler this yr I did a few side by side tastings of the DDH Stillings St and the DDH space diamonds and ACE and even with the different hop profiles, I thought all three were top notch and some of the best beers that've graced my fridge. Now that I think of it, I've never had a Mosaic based Trillium.. maybe that could be the real test since what OH does with Mosaic hops is nothing short of astounding.

I've had Trillium before, but my brother just surprised me with a 4 pack of Congress St, and cans of Upper Case, DDH Melcher, and Sleeper. I also have some LIC Beer Project, Songlecut cans, and hoping to pick up some OH after work, so interested to see which I prefer generally.

I'm only interested in the DDH Broccoli so if that's a double batch, that would be perfect. DDH Cabbage was released the same day as DDH Forever Simcoe about 6 weeks ago and the latest release of Forever Simcoe lasted a few days. Perhaps that will happen with Cabbage

If they do release the Cabbage Tekus and have the same quantity, hopefully they limit it like Cheddar (e.g. 2 per person). I recall getting there when the line was done and still able to purchase them.

I'll pray for a dbl batch of some Broccoli. This past Saturday was so pleasant, picking up 4 different cans 10 hours after opening.

Gotta say: brought some cans of Crystal Waves down to the beach yesterday and they were really hitting the spot. As much as I love IPAs, it's really nice to have something light and crisp for the warmer weather.

(Proceeds to lock self in room, close windows, crank the air conditioning, and crack open a can of DDH Space Diamonds)
