no i know that. im just saying if you lower allotments increasing the # of ppl at OH who take the max the line would move quicker.. bc you can set up the allotments before hand

 

Well if anything this release just shows the economy must be doing well and people have a lot of disposable income. Those glasses are pretty nifty though

 

Line update?

 

They don't need my help but I think 4 can releases at once is too much. The line was insane and moved incredibly slow. I live a 20 min walk from OH and I could have driven to sand city and back in the time it took me to get a few OH 4 packs today. I will not be waiting in line again. If they run out, oh well, I'll go somewhere else.

If they do double batches of one or two styles a week, they'd have enough for everyone to come at their leisure. The last DDH MB release was great because I was able to get some on saturday and then went back wednesday to get more and had a couple drafts while I was there.

 

Just missed out on the glasses ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Crazy to see people leaving with A case of glassware haha.

 

Glassware will be resold for a hefty price tag

 

Line update?

 

No need to repeat last week's argument but smaller allocations is far more customer-friendly than what happened today. They'd still sell out.

 

Being dense probably - but is there beer left? Not totally clear. Lots of complaining but sounds like only glasses sold out?

 

I was surprised at the amount of people walking away with a case or less of beer total and a box of glasses.

Weird, yet fun, line today.

 

As long and slow as the line was, most people weren't walking out with more than a case total. When I left around 12:45, there was a decent amount left but still a long line.

Pleasing customers doesn't drive the hype train.

 

Bummed that I wasn't able to get a teku, but the beer is certainly softening the blow. Only had Cheddar so far, but it's drinking great straight from the jump.

 

Was hoping to get over to OH earlier today to get cans of the new beers, but family happened...will head over later today and be suffice with growler fills :-)

 

I think the line was slow because of the glasses. I've been to plenty of 4 can releases that weren't that slow. 1 hour from the recycling center. Forget cash lines. They need glass lines.

Once in the OH big door saw a guy approaching people asking if they weren't maxing out on glasses if they could get him a couple more. Never would have thought a cool looking teku would bring out such craziness!

 

Meanwhile my Carton Teku is my least used glass.
