Maples creamies on tap and for fills

 

I am irrationally excited to go to a bar and say "Can I have a Maple Creamie, please?"

 

He also got kicked out.

 

Just got home from OH and had a full pour of it when i was there...maple bomb...very slight alcohol burn on the backend, but well hidden otherwise..it's a fantastic stout..should have grabbed two growlers

 

How crowded was it? Was thinking of heading down to try it but its been so crowded on weekends lately

 

Had maple creamies. Very tasty. Very sweet though too (for my tastes). Wouldn't be able to do more than about 10oz in a sitting

 

Did my first OH release yesterday. Great experience, got there just prior to 8am, about 90th in line, good people all around. Line moved very SLOW, other than that, no complaints. Would have liked to go into tap room, but it was wall to wall people, so we got a cab and took off. Had a few OH around the City yesterday and then SingleCut earlier this afternoon before heading out. NYC is awesome as always and now had the beer to back it up!!!!!

 

it was busy, but not insane..had 3 growlers filled and a full pour of the maple..in/out in about 15 mins

 

Yeah I made it down and wasnt as bad as I expected

 

So back to beer... what are people thinking of the new hop profiles on these beers, didn't make it out but haven't tried any of the three ( had DDH bro. But never the regular one) which do you guys enjoy the most?

 

For me, Broccoli was the best by a pretty comfortable margin, then Cabbage slightly edges out Cheddar for 2nd.

 

Maple Creamies- 10.5%. Maple cream imperial stout with lactose and Maine maple syrup. Brewed in creamy collaboration with our Maine squeeze Bunker Brewing

Was the one on draft at the brewery the BA version? Didn't say that on the board and didn't pick up any barrel at all. Or is the bottled one going to be the BA version.

 

I think bottled one will be BA? Because that description in keg e-mail didn't say anything about BA

 

Yeah, Untappd doesnt mention it either. @Kanger can you help clarify?

 

Made some Broccoli Cheddar Cabbage soup on Saturday night. Tasted great, but I think I like Broccoli the best, followed by Cabbage then Cheddar. Looking forward to Green Beans, Brussel Sprouts, Asparagus, Spinach and Kale.
