My guess is there is a whole segment of OH drinkers who don't frequent the can releases because of line culture that will swoop in when production is increased knowing they can get the beer by just rolling in and out.

Trillium is a great example of how increasing capacity has made beer buying a normal experience and benefitted them.

I'm one of the people who will only go to OH when I know I can be in and out in under 20 minutes.

Agree with the sentiment here. I only line up if I know I truly want the beer (DDH Broccoli, Nummy, etc.) If I knew I didn't want I'd spend too much money there...!

In a perfect world, I'd be able to leave work and head to OH and grab some cans. With the expansion, that may happen. Just have to wait and see.

I think it will. I mean, it kind of happens now with certain cans. Forever Ever, Green Diamonds, Hop Showers, most double batches last into the week.

Pretty sure this will be the case. Couldn't be more excited, considering I live in the neighborhood.

OH is very easy for to me to get to from work and easy to get home from. So I'd thrilled to be able to do that.

I did a side by side of the last two GD last night. The old batch was undrinkable, at least for me. The new batch tasted great, decidedly darker and less fake haze than most of the NE style IPAs but the classic abrasive OH that I love. Would recommend for any fans.

Getting there between 10:30 and 11:30 gives a pretty good balance between not waiting too long and not risking missing out on something you want.

I've been there 4 saturdays in the past month and a half (live close) and have never waited in line longer than 20 minutes and have only missed 1 beer. I suspect that doesn't hold up so well during summer, though.

Any thoughts on how the line is gonna be considering the weather? Hoping for an early opening, it's going to be awful in the early hours of the day.

Is it so crazy to think they just open on time and people decide to not stand in the cold? Why should they adjust their hours?
