When does the new tap room open?

 

I know you're "in charge" of starting many of the monthly threads but are you also in charge of the content of what's posted on each thread? Can we only post what we think of the beer? What other opinions or topics are off limits? I don't want to waste your time by posting something you think is wrong. Thank you.

 

most of the DDH releases..especially 4 can ones have long lines..to guarantee you get all cans you need to be online by 8:30..but you can usually get growler fills if a particular can sells out if you come later.

 

I know my post was on the longer side, but you really need to read more carefully. I don't claim to be in charge of content and I thought it would be nice to start some of the threads with content to help people with monthly information. There are a lot of people who want to try and/or visit these breweries. I try to actually read the entire thread, every month, and look for posts with good info that I can add to the first post. Even yours @DrStiffington. It's not easy, but every month I do it and try to have the thread up before you wake up. Not very glamorous and I'm usually tired that day.

I have the right to state my opinion and tried to add some new points to consider. I would vigorously defend everybody's right to voice their opinion, here and in the outside world, but I posed the question that people who keep repeating their posts here might be better served to write their concerns directly to the brewery. Just might be more effective.

"I prefer to read about what are people's impressions of each beer since the number of reviews have fallen off on the site. Or at least less negativity. I get enough of this with our national news, lol." I stand by the last two lines I wrote. It's my personal preference and I suspect as well as that of many others here. "it feels like beating a dead horse. Your points have been made and you don't really win anybody over by keep repeating them." Beer is supposed to be enjoyable imho.

My posts are mostly helpful, yours are mostly complaints. Feel free to continue. You have that right. Just don't try again to make it personal, as you have done in the past. If you want to grab a beer at one of the breweries, I'll pick up the first round. Cheers.

 

My comments on BA are not mostly complaints first of all. Secondly, I have noticed that you seem to fancy yourself a "monitor" on here but I don't take your comments personally. I love OH beer, only go every few months regardless due to buying other beer. I just happen to think discussions and differing opinions should be welcome and that it's not the job of other BAs to police each other's comments. Let's also remember we're customers, not armchair brewers.

Nope, that's on you. I don't do any monitoring. Maybe, because I don't post as often as you do, my posts create a bigger impression. Don't try to change my words. I'm stating MY OPINION and making MY SUGGESTIONS. Defending your right to continually post the same points is one I'm not taking away from you. I just think people who repeat the same complaints, over and over, would be better served if they give it to the breweries directly. They are the ones who would make the changes.

I didn't agree with you when you wrote the above on the Kane thread. All people should be able to get beer whatever state they are coming from imo. Guess this is my payback for writing my opinion and disagreeing with you. Does it apply the other way to you for OH beer? Nobody here suggests it would be cool to restrict sales to NY ID only.

Sorry @MosaicDrops and other readers. I'll try to stop responding to the attacks. It gets tiresome to just ignore them but derailing the thread is was never my intention.

 

I'm just going to go to Other Half, have a pint, and wait for all of this to blow over.
