Only 8 of the 33 cans they've released these past two months have had lactose. Many of those have been well received, and only Chimera lasted past the weekend.

    Am I missing something?

While I'm really not crazy about it and find it kinda absurd that they may be releasing all "cream IPAs" this weekend (sidenote: suprised they haven't named a beer "All Cream Everything" yet), it does make sense given the feedback they're receiving from ratings sites (including here on BA). The oat creams are their most acclaimed beers, which follows from the fact that most of their customers want their DIPAs to taste and feel like fruit smoothies and the inherent limitations on thicc-ness that can be created with core four ingredients. Unfortunately, for those of us who aren't as big on the lactose additions (and vegans too!), I don't see OH moving away from its use anytime soon...

I, for one, welcome our new lactose overlords

Been drinking these beers for a couple weeks, wondering why my stomach has been killing me. I’m lactose intolerant and apparently also, an idiot.

    Mylar Daydream a double batch?

That Smokescreens variant sounds like it has some promise too.

If it is indeed a midweek, I will be really stoked.

Damn dope looking release. Excited for all three of these.

Adding to the All Infinity Everything praise, just cracked a can of it and it aged incredibly well. Tastes even better than when I first had it. Luckily for me I still have two more cans

Oh well, I love the dream/oat/lactose/cream series.

Mylar Daydream = full allotment for me. I am stoked.

Back to a case per person allotment. Hoping the Mylar Daydream is a double batch then.

See, I'd be more excited about this than last week (just my opinion)

Too bad I'm flying out on Saturday, would love to grab some of these.

Hopefully we can get a definitive answer from @Kanger regarding which, if any, is a double batch.

Current DDH Forever Simcoe is firing on all cylinders. Want to encourage anyone looking for a lactose break to grab this draft-only release in the taproom, ideally in a growler.
