I was on line around 2:30 and when they opened up shop, I didn't see many guys walking away carrying two full cases. I was done and in the tasting room by 3:10

 

Now now, I will NOT have you talking negatively about God's Country in this thread.

 

I got a case of each but you'll all be relieved to know I live in Brooklyn and I intend to drink it all myself, alone in the dark, nude.

For those who aren't happy about all the Oat Cream Lactose bombs, I just opened a can of Go With The Flow and it definitely reminds me of classic OH low abv (relatively speaking) deliciousness. Very solid, straight forward IPA (and yes, it's still got that haze).

just going to start putting my money where my mouth is and boycott OH. its clear this release was intended for line lifers with the lame bottle opener, the early opening time and the fact it was a tuesday.

if you want to please locals then have this release start at 6 or 7 and be 3 four packs a person. until they start doing those things im just going to support other local breweries.

 

Bottle opener has been available for purchase the last two releases.

 

i dont really care just salty that if other half would have cut limits in half id be able to get beer for the holidays. its just getting tired at this point.

 

Being irritated/annoyed/angered/etc... over missing out on the opportunity to spend $20 on a 4 pack of beer isn't a behavior generally associated with "normal" people.

 

oh thats my favorite part of enjoying beer is spending $20 a four pack :eye_roll: this is a site for beer nerds not normal people

Let's all agree to admit it to this thread if/when we fall off the wagon though.

 

I was in the area today since my boss thought I would love to spend my day at a site in Red Hook. I swung by around 2:45 and was probably 60th in line or so. I was completely surprised at the turn out.

Some employee of the nearby industry walked by with his lunch and was perplexed to hear people were waiting in line for beer. He asked "is it good beer?", which was followed up by some irritated (for no reason) douche bag who said "would we standing in fucking line for hours if it wasn't?" No wonder everyone looks down on this scene.

 

Drinking a DDH Green Power right now. Safe to say time has done nothing good for this beer.

What a letdown.

 

showed up around 315 as i had the day off and was suprised to see the line as long as it was (maybe 60 ppl deep)
Grabbed 1 four pack of each (my family doesnt really drink beer, let alone craft beer), as well as 2 growlers.

Just finished one of the Go With The Flow Cans and cant say im crazy about it, but ill definitely keep an open mind as i'll probably finish another tomorrow or thurs

 

I wonder if people took the day off/left early to go to Other Half and get beer.

 

But is it good beer? People will line up no matter what was in the cans as long as it said OH on the outside.
