I definitely havent been able to try them all, I missed those in particular.

 

Can't wait for the corresponding teku that will undoubtedly be announced Friday. They are going to look goofy AF. Love it though.

 

The color scheme on these new cans is pretty bad, and not bad in a good way like the Broccoli cans... pink and brown are not friends.

One thing about OH that is demonstrably getting worse is the graphic design. The Mylar Daydreams graphic was pretty nice actually but most of the Daydream series looks like Yoshi's Island (sometimes cool, usually not) and these pattern designs are going way downhill. This Wangies thing and the Highballers / Chimera / Zamboni designs are moving into Equilibrium / Sand City graphic design territory (not a good place to be).

 

I agree with you that those background colors aren't the best choice, but the designers that do OH's cans would have to try incredibly hard to make labels as amateur hour as Equilibriums.

 

I agree with all this. But don’t let KCBC off the hook. Although they put in the effort, I think they have the worst brand in the city.

 

While I do think that OH has been phoning in a lot of their can art they're not as bad as Equilibrium. The Fractal series, Fluctuation, and VDoF all have identical label designs, you have to read the damn can to figure which one it is.

 

Bridge and Tunnel must not be on your radar...

 

I've definitely had some pretty good KCBC beers, but often the can art is the standout, not the beer.. it definitely shoots for that comic-book art vibe, though which is probably not most people's thing.

 

Personally, I thought the Mylar Daydream cans would have looked better with the "Mylar element" in the daydream cloud, and the background in pink, blue etc.

 

i would say that interboro, grimm, and greenpoint have the best design in the city. although interboro phones it in a lot as well. so for me its between grimm and greenpoint.

 

I would add LIC Beer Project to that mix (excluding their standard design). Triple Candy, Pile of Crowns, Hollows, Party Crasher, Wildstyle etc. have fantastic designs.
