Next release info. I'm actually more excited for Forever Simcoe than Mylar Bags!

Double Dry Hopped Double Mosaic Dream is tasting uhhhhmazzzing right now. i get a slight battery taste from the double dry hopping but i really dont mind. not buttery but like when you lick a battery.

can't get over how much flavor is in the aroma and taste. just amazing.

I had one last night too. Have to agree. I have a few regular DMD left. I might have to do a comparison.

@jrnyc Regarding you comment on the Sep thread about AGE being a great TIPA, it really is one of the best IPAs above 10% abv out there. A lot of hoppy beers that creep above 10% tend to be sticky and turn malty as hell quickly but AGE is bright from the start and holds up well.

Yeah, it seems added fruit falls off badly. Sorry for your loss.

If the allotments for the next weekend are similar to recent releases, Mylar Bags may be the first beer I actually consider buying a case of.

Pro tip: do a cuvee of Simcoe+Wai-iti and Amarillo if you have them. Pretty tasty.

I didn't have a chance to find Forever Simcoe on draft but I generally like what OH does with simcoe, similar to Galaxy, that I trust that it will be worth my dollars.

Oddly enough I had one this weekend and thought it tasted great. I did think it fell off a few weeks back, much earlier than I would have expected.

I did a side by side yesterday, and the difference was noticeable but not a huge difference. The nose on the DDH was much more in your face (in a pleasant way), and it also had a little more lingering hop deliciousness in the finish. They are both great brews, can't go wrong with either. Would happily grab cans of either when they are out.

Oddly enough you don't need to add 400 lbs of passion fruit to an IPA to get tropical fruit flavors, just let the hops do the talking. I didn't care for this beer or Greenprint.
