If you were at Ugly Baby around 7pm, that was probably us.

The food there was tremendous and even with the beer, my mouth was on fire.

Hmm, I don't think it was. So yeah I guess it's a collab price then.

That duck salad tho, I ate there as well and suggested they order some kegs from OH when they get their license. I hope OH makes something custom for them like they did for Pig Beach, actually a lactose/oat cream IPA would be nice to help with the spiciness. Hopefully a step up from Boon's Brew.

I find it a bit exciting that OH is experimenting with different yeast strains though. Expanding their horizons outside of their signature "bite" and mix of hops is a good thing.

    Question:

What's everyone's LEAST favorite OH brew? Keep it limited to IPA/DIPAs.

Mine: Citra+Galaxy. It found those two hops in concert somehow subtracted from one another. Really unremarkable!

    Sound off below...

Barring Grape Conversate? Probably the following:
    That brown batch of Citra+Motueka
    Suparillo
Not the biggest Cheddar fan either

My lowest OH scores on untappd are City Slickers and Motueka + Galaxy, although they are both at 4.25 which is still quite good.

    Least favorite:
    Suparillo
    Imaginary dreamscapes
Southern hopalistic (reg version)...I really like the DDH version though.

Talk about a throwback! I’m betting that most people reading that will think you’re just being rude and not actually answering the question. That might’ve been the first OH collab

Blowin Up the Spot ....though after a few weeks it became OK.

    I don't think 10% suits the style.

It was a collab with Magic Rock (a UK brewery). It was an IPA hopped with Citra, Galaxy, Wai-iti, and Hallertau Blac. All of this sounds fine and dandy, but it was then additionally refermented with Concord grapes; ultimately turning it into a tart/buttery mess of a beer.

Fortunately I had a bunch of friends coming out my way during that time that like craft beer, but weren't the most discerning about what they drank. Really helped soften the blow after I bought four 4-packs of it.

    Not a fan of Motueka+Galaxy.

Nelson Sauvin+Motueka. That beer to me was almost undrinkable.
