Small Green Everything has popped up on draft at a few places. Has this been brewed since it was canned last? (Several months ago, I believe)

Boogie Board Stuntz, collab with Bunker. Given the number of these questions I'm answering, you can just start PMing me if you have questions :stuck_out_tongue:

    It's a particularly hoppy Koelsch. It's fantastic.

Also had Small Green at Milk and Hops (Astor) earlier and it was awesome.

but not recommended if you like a true to style kolsch.

Well, kind of, right? Koelsch is a style that we're well acquainted to via distro, and this might be a more modern take on a Koelsch. More subtle hops are conventional but less modern. I'd say it's very much like Grits n Greens was just a more "modern" pilsener.

With that said, please don't put me in the position of defending short dark and handsome as a "modern" stout.

I get so out of wack when things like BBS and its Mosaic dry hopping are described as a kolsch - its such a wonderful subtle under appreciated style that any heavy handed use of non traditional hops totally ruins it. Just don't call it a kolsch and I'm fine with it. BBS tastes nothing at all like any proper kolsch either from Germany or domestic.

I thought Cool Summer Bro was a good beer - since we are talking about overly hopped takes on non hoppy beers.

I was about to say... I probably should just start PMing you at this point.

Hoppy Kolsch, I'm in. I'd be happy to grab almost anything at this point, as long as it's different and good.

I can't stand how quickly people start abbreviating beer names here on this website like some one-off beer are household name beers that we should all automatically know. Sure I happened to know this one and would have helped but how hard is it to type out a full name? not calling out anyone in particular I see this in every thread. So I can't blame you for asking

Dude, if you were a real beer advocate, you'd be familiar with OH's Bourbon Barrel Stout.

Just thinking about "Cool Summer, Bro" makes me salivate. My first favorite from OH, I'm still hoping they brew it again some day. So much delicious brett funk on top of juicy hops and wheat
