If one was to save a 32oz growler for a later date, what's the latest said person should wait to open such a growler without ill effect?

    Thanks.

you might need to lay off the hoppy stuff for awhile to appreciate a good kolsch. there's nothing subtle about mosaic in that type of beer. Barrier has their true to style Icculus kolsch on now.

Equinox/Topaz is extremely well blended; impressed with OH’s mediation process amongst these NZ hops/impressed with how well OH integrated these NZ hops, as they are really getting along: orange, citrus, faded apricot and papaya - dank, creamy, juicy, tropical fruit

Anybody else notice a growing mustiness to some OH beers? I noticed it on the last batch of Hop Showers (#hazeshowers), and I'm getting it on this batch of all citra and simcoe. I love how much frothier this simcoe is than the previous, but there's a very noticeable smell/taste that seems to be more recent to their beers.

They are counter pressured, so should last a couple weeks.

With Greenpoint & Interboro both releasing cans (and LIC possibly having some as well) I think I will be skipping this Saturday unless some are leftover on Sunday.

I would think some cans would last until Sunday the way releases have been going, it's a good time to be a beer lover in NYC

Agreed, I may go in at 9 and hope everything lasts like it has lately. Though summer vacations are over so who knows if lines get bigger again

Case limit on each, totally necessary

Does anyone know how quickly the Court Street Grocers on La Guardia sells out of the cans they get? Would cans from the release two weeks ago still be there? I normally wouldn't pay the mark-up (never have) and just wait for a future release, but I was hoping to grab 1 of each as I'm compiling a gift of various NYC beers for a wedding gift.

Whoever said 1 case limit to "ensure a sellout" is absurd. They have clearly been able to brew more beer as of late. Regardless of one day, two days, three days....they almost always sell out of cans. They don't need a "hype train" people line up regardless. They have made their ground in the NY beer scene and its pretty much as simple as that.

Not really. I've gotten a ton of misinformation from them. Popped in the Saturday of one of their last releases and was told they had not gotten any cans yet only to come back the following day and find them out. The guy their told me they got em in Friday night but don't like to interfere with Other Halfs release and will sometimes wait until Sunday to put them out but to ask because they usually have em downstairs. Anyway that's what I did two weeks later and was met with a "I don't know what you're talking about" only to come back later in the day to find them on the shelf. Last release they had space diamonds, simcoe, Stuntz and strangely enough stacks on stacks. End rant.
