I think a few months is a large enough sample size and its safe to say if its not a collab with a big brewer you can stroll in before 2-3 and crab cans.

Anyone know if anything is sold out yet? I've got some friends swinging by around 6.

Nelson and DMD are down to 4packs, not cases. The rest, definitely. Can't believe it all lasted so long.

Today's Double Mosaic Dream absolutely crushes the last batch. Like they weren't even the same beer.

Nelson Motueka is maybe the most distinct beer I've had by OH in a long time.

I don't know. I'm drinking it right now and it's great but I thought it was just as amazing last time. In fact, I remember it got tastier after a couple of weeks. Either way, this is probably my favorite OH beer.

I agree. Dank is really overused, but it seems quite appropriate here. Maybe it's just similarities in the way the Nelson is being expressed, but it reminds me somewhat of All Dank.

And agree with @DrStiffington on Double Mosaic. I thought the last batch of cans was really, really special. I'll have to crack another of these to double check, but I'd say the last batch was at least as good!

I think it's very good/unique. I got a lot of red berries in the nose and taste and just a slight bitter bite at the end. If you've ever had welch's mixed berries fruit snacks, it smells exactly like that IMO. Just opened a can of Nelson + Motueka and it's tasting really nice as well, just not getting as much from the Nelson as I was hoping for. Slightly off topic, but that Interboro Premiere IPA is a nice addition to the rotation, tons of melon/honeydew juice flavor. Very good weekend for NYC releases.

I would include Peekskill, Kane, Rushing Duck, and Magnify in there. I'm always struck by how much the OH line is comprised of out of towners, particularly Jersey and Long Island. If Barrier switched to putting Money in 16 oz cans and releasing it on site, I think that and Sand City would meet most the island's needs!

OH Production is clearly way up, I don't think they announced it, but these batches must all be double the size of batches at the end of last year/beginning of this year. I'm sure some one like @Kanger could shed more light. Was this 4 batches of 60 BBLs each?? Bigger, smaller?? Either way, I think the days of showing up by 8 am to not get shut out are over.

I asked a page or two ago and @Kanger said still the same 30 bbl system. I'll be honest though, I know very little about commercial brewing and it's unclear to me if that means there are only 30 bbl (~950 gallons) every 2 weeks, which seems impossibly low given that's ~320 cases and when OH used to announce volume, it seemed to be about that much of each beer.

OR does it mean they can brew 30 bbl of a given wort then threw it into some other vessel to ferment, dry hop, etc and so long as they have more of those secondary vessels (big versions of my homebrewing carboy), they can brew ~300 cases of any one beer at a time, but have multiple beers going (without needing more than one brew kettle per say).

    Sorry for my ignorance!

I swear at some point I noticed more of these vessels in the bay (right behind where they sell cans) than I had in the past.[IMG]

We averaged around 22 - 25 bbl each for these canned beers. Some of it was kegged up.

There were less that 250 cases of each, except GD which we had about 260.
