Redhook Crit is really good. First thing I thought of after trying it was that it tastes like a sessionable 2nd Anniversary. Hope it's on for fills at some point.

Speaking of the Red Hook Crit - I'll be serving it tomorrow at the event. Come out and say hello.

Did not have this at all across 16 cans or so. Finished my last can last night and the taste had come together so well.

Agreed. Really sucks to go to a brewery where all you can do is drink beer.

Anyone who hasn't cracked their Stacks on Stacks cans should right now, sipping great and refreshing. IMO, Stacks > AGE, very glad they canned it. The Finback/OH collab was a good one too, gonna crack open a City Slickers today.

Haven't heard anything else regarding new bottles yet. I know there's some BA stuff down the pipe, but at last check the staff was saying it needs a few more months.

Stacks on stacks is in no way better than AGE. Not to mention AGE is a triple IPA. They are in no way comparable. If you want to compare stacks and GD then maybe, but stacks still loses. Stacks is probably my least favorite canned IPA besides equinox. There is nothing about this beer that stands out.

Crazy how polarizing this beer is. I thought it was one of OH's best, far preferable to AGE and GD, back when I had b1 on draft. But then again, I don't love either of those two beers - I prefer my IPAs in the 7-8% range, once you get to 9%+ I start to like them less. Maybe the batch that was canned wasn't as good though - I'll have to crack one of the two cans I have soon and see.

When I had B1 on draft, I can remember going to Sam and saying "You guys NEED to can this."

When I went there a few weeks ago, he said "Guess what we're canning? It's one of your favorites."

AGE is the beer that convinced me to take trips to OH almost weekly from Long Island. I love it and always will. However, I will say that Stacks is my favorite Imperial IPA (and probably my favorite IPA) brewed at OH.

Just had a Baby Diamonds at Blind Tiger and wow is that a great session! Really nice crackery/bready interplay (I do love reg. GD fwiw) with the hops. Right up with Micro green as tops for me.

Baby Diamonds rocked. One of the things I've loved about OH sessions is that they're still able to deliver a huge hop punch at session ABV levels. I've never felt beers like Baby Diamonds, Forever Ever, or Microgreen were lacking in flavor.

Really good pale ale, perfect for the event. Great event, perfect weather, right on water, great view of Statue of Liberty and downtown Manhattan. Seeing those bikes racing around at high speeds very cool. Highly recommend this event when it comes around next year, especially if weather is good and OH is pouring.

Anyone try the Tired Hands/Omnipollo/OH collab yet? It was supposed to be on tap at Proletariat tonight.

I just discovered the podcast Steal This Beer and I'm currently listening through some of the older episodes (it's a great podcast IMO). In episode 23 (September 2015) they do a blind tasting with the OH red wine BA imperial stout and it got some nice tasting notes from Augie and others. I still have a bottle left and was curious if anyone has opened one recently and what their thoughts were?

Yeah they didn't get the keg...I was pretty disappointed. I also missed on BB Swish so I was not a happy camper. That being said the Austin Street Patina Pale and City of the Dead, which were nice.

Gonna just do the damn thing and go to OH on Saturday...at like 7am
