Yup, I'm done with the lines. Ill head to the brewery on Wednesday and grab a pint.

 

Cash only register!

 

Looks like the cash only register is in addition to the other registers, which is pretty great. That should help the line move significantly faster. This is still likely a skip for me, largely because I'm burnt out on these releases, but I'm interested to see how much difference this makes.

 

Predictions on the line craziness for this release? Obviously we're not gonna be at ACE/Street Green level, but I feel like there is a decent level of buzz around Stacks on Stacks. I remember thinking how much I would love cans of that beer when I had it on tap a couple months ago. Will probably arrive at my normal time (8AM) and see how it goes. I will also be bringing cash.

 

I wouldn't be so confident it's not ACE level. It's another new beer (for cans at least, which is what interests people that drive from outside the city). Plus, people who arrived at 9 a.m. for ACE got shut out, which is only going to make those people show up even earlier.

 

I'll be at this one, I thought Stacks was just okay but I love HS and a case limit is huge.

 

Wouldn't be surprised if there were some undercover cops at this release.

 

interesting. I'm coming from a bar/keg perspective, it's not being distributed to bars till next week.

 

Stacks on Stacks is awesome but c'mon man! No All Gold Everything?!?!?! I was ready to shell out $75 for just a 4 pack. #wishfulthinking

 

I might be in the minority but I thought stacks on stacks was solid but not anything special

 

I remember it reminding me a lot of 2nd Anniversary (obviously not quite as good.) Similar hop bill.

 

I think this can be said for most of Other Half's beers. They brew sooooo many different beers and they are always very good but only a few have hit that upper tier.

 

This is how I feel too. Their beers are mostly good to very good, but the flavor profiles are starting to run together for me. I remember trying 2nd Anniversary and hoping they'd take their newer beers in that direction, but it hasn't really happened. I thought ! would be like 2nd Anniversary, but that one was a disappointment for me. Not sure if I'm burning out on OH or my palate is shifting as a result of drinking so much Grimm, Tree House, and Trillium lately.

 

Keep piling on hate in here and maybe the release won't suck for us normos

 

Can't stomach another 4 hour wait. Going to risk an afternoon arrival on this one.

 

Hope they fill a shit ton of cans.
