Other Half Brewing Is Banking on a Local Beer Moment for New York

25 cases of Hop Showers left, and Green is for G's back on tap

 

There was also a small spotlight on them in this month's Food and Wine magazine!

 

Back on tap or is it a new beer. Seems different than G is for green?

 

Dang, I hope those glasses last until next weekend.

 

New beer. 11.5%abv!

 

It's a new beer and the glasses are sold out.

 

Glasses sold out in one night with no can release? Wonder who was that guy and left with a couple cases.

 

It was me now gimme all that Everett

 

Hop Showers cans were there and lots of people were snapping those up too. Cans+news glasses means the place was about 25x more crowded than a typical Wednesday night.

 

That's a bummer about the glasses, hopefully they'll make an OH Teku again at some point.

 

Anyone try Green is for G's last night? Might swing by the taproom tonight.

 

While I'm not ready for summer to end I'd love a stout from them in a can. Anyone hear anymore info on this?

 

A shame those 2 things are mutually exclusive.

 

This may have been asked, but coming from Jersey can I take a train in? I'm near Point Pleasant for reference. What's the time frame look like doing that? Thanks for any help.

 

You can take the NJ Coast train to Penn Station which is about 2 hours without the connection. Then hop on the F train at Herald SQ and take that straight to OH which would be another 40 mins or so.
