Got there about 1230..tap area was mildly crowded and no line for cans..Tried the green is for g's, which was a pleasant hop bomb and very smooth

 

Interesting. I did exactly the same at 12:30pm today. And speaking of time, it looks like showing up 2 hrs after the release is perfect timing. Hope it stays like that.

 

Really? Wow. I must have gotten some of the last cans. Seemed like they had more in the back when I got mine at 1.

People really need to stop parking in mcdonalds. I saw someone with a NJ license plate park in Mcdonalds when there was a parking spot directly in front of the brewery door. There was another 4 spots on the block. Couldn't have been about laziness.

 

They pulled out another palette of GD around 11:15 and there was still more AGE in the cooler, a whole other palette. Surprised to see it go so fast!

Parking was easy, found a spot right around the corner. Not hard to find parking, even after the initial rush. Hope that NJ'er at least spent $ at McD's.

 

The canning run of AGE this time was lower than usual, so that's why it sold out quickly. I think maybe there was around 1.2 palates, probably less.

 

Yeah another dangerous one for OH. Goes down easy for 11.5%.

 

Had a glass of Green is for G while I was there. I thought it was full of flavor and delicious, but I didnt find it that smooth in terms of ABV. The alcohol was pretty apparent to me. Not a bad thing for the ABV but def did not go down easy for me. To each his own!

That Foodre Joose was fucking awesome though.

 

Not to be that guy but if someone has an extra 4 pack of AGE, I'm in Manhattan for the weekend and dying to try it. Was hoping it would be on tap today but it wasn't, just missed out on cans. Thanks guys, the info you put out in this thread rocks. Extremely helpful

This batch of Green Diamonds is delicious. Kanger wasn't lying, definitely tasting tropical and fruity. Even had to bump up my rating a bit

 

I was told that they only received 120 cases of the 200 that they were supposed to receive of AGE. Missed the last of them by about 5 minutes... Bummer.

 

Sooo....any Green Diamonds can left for today?

Word from Matt is the next single-hop can release is Amarillo followed by El Dorado. I might have it backwards. In any case, I'm psyched to try some new hops!

 

Agreed, just had a can and it's the most tropical tasting batch yet.

 

The Calypso Farmhouse is tasting really nice. As well as the Small Green Everything. Super Dank Session.
