Other Half Brewing Thread (Feb 2016)

That place East Park Beverage seems consistent with their Other Half selection. Just saw an IG post up for "Stacks on Stacks".

 

Yea I was just gonna post this. I don't know how or why they keep getting OH beers when OH knows they get mules to wait in line for can releases and charge insane mark-ups for their beers. I really want to try this beer but I don't want to be part of the problem.

 

Beer is beer. Just called them and picking one up tonight!!!

 

Did you get a price?

 

Darn it, forgot about that. Probably similar to they're previous prices, $20-$25.

I started keeping one in the office after the first time I was in this predicament.

EDIT: Looks like it's on at both Milk & Hops locations right now, per untappd. Looks like another hazy one from OH. Hope it's just as juicy as their other recent, hazy IPAs.

 

Think that was my Untappd checkin and it is quite good. Not 2nd Anniversary but good.

 

It takes me a good hour to trek in to other half. I would love to swing by this weekend but not any earlier than noon or so. I can't take standing in their lines which move at a snails pace. Chances all green is around close to noon? Think it will be walk right at that point?

 

Your guess is as good as anyone's at this point, but for what it's worth, after checking updates on here to see the status, I intend to go at around 1 or 2, depending on OH's posts on how many cases they have left.

 

Man...2nd Anniversary is amazing. Great, danky smell and an unbelievable citric taste. I love how that danky resiness fades into a perfect bitter finish. This might be the best of theirs I've had. That color is something though, that's for sure.

 

I wonder why they're canning the Equinox and not the Chinook? Definitely excited to try that one, as well as Stacks on Stacks.

 

Looks like we're getting a bottle this weekend too - In Absentia Luci. Hopefully it turns out better than the Orbit bottles.

 

Love almost all my OH experiences so far, but it's all ales. Would love to see how they do a stout

 

Are they filling growlers? Or just for onsite?
