I'm not sure a stout is really going to bring out that many more people, especially when results of stouts in the past have been... mixed. I'm planning to monitor here and go if/when the line dies down though, because there's no way I'm waiting outside in sub-20 degree weather.

I'm really curious with the weather, how many people are going to come out for this release. I almost think the weather will have a reverse effect and a lot of people will go thinking the line won't be too bad. Either way, I will be there.

Maybe it won't have much impact, but I'm gambling that the fact that the offerings are more "regular" will have much more of an impact. AGE is released every other month basically, and Equinox has been released before. Last time AGE was released in December, I walked up at 1pm with no line and got the max, and it was released alongside a new beer (Baby Diamonds), not a repeat. Should be interesting to see what happens either way.

When you think of the last three releases, there have been reasons for the shitshow. Suparillo/Forever Ever was NYE, then the Tired Hands collab, then the 2nd Anny beer. Going back to "regular" releases should calm that.

Or, not. And if that's the case, welp.

I got a growler of Stacks on Stacks at M & H. It immediately moves to #2 behind mosaic on my list of OH IPA's. Amazing juicy hop profile.

I also got a growler last night at M&H and agree it's pretty great. I think I prefer 2nd Anniversary by a hair, but it's really awesome. I would love it if they canned that on the regular - I thought it was better than all of their regular canned offerings.

Same here, also picked up a Stacks growler and also think it ranks among their tops.

If Other Half IPAs are "intensely dank hop weapons", this one is the citra bomb.

Love this direction they are heading with their recent IPAs. Definitely going the TH route. Can't wait to try some Stacks at the can release tomorrow.

What? Are you serious? The dude I spoke to claimed he gets them for a distributors rate/price. The other guys, East Park Beverage, when I spoke to them, claimed they waited on line and the nine-yards that a regular customer would.

They are really dialing it in lately. If it isn't the smell of pineapple, mango, grapefruit and dank, it's the taste...just all that with a certain clean creaminess that goes down too easy. Hope the cans taste this good. Cheers.

Stacks on Stacks. Even the name is cool.
