Considering Suparillo kegs just seem to have hit en mass last week, after being released NYE, I wouldn't be surprised if we see more Anniversary kegs in 2 weeks or so.

Has anyone tried Midnight Showers yet and what are their thoughts...

Someone wants me to fill a growler for people who are not "accustomed" to this type of beer so I was wondering how close it's in smell and taste to Hop Showers. Thanks in advance.

I liked it, and I'm not a huge fan of black IPAs. I actually tastes very similar to regular Hop Showers, not a ton of roast. Which is probably why I liked it more - I love roasty stouts, and I love hoppy beers, but I don't love them combined.

I like Doug the best out of their American Black Ale beers as I prefer the roasty taste. Midnight Showers tasted a little grapey to me. Maybe I need to give it another shot.

I found it to be pretty similar to regular Hop Showers, with just a little bit of roast to it (and obviously the appearance). Black IPAs are not my favorite style, so I think I enjoyed it more than most for that reason.

Looks like M&H Chelsea is doing growlers of Anniversary today. Almost as pricey as at the brewery though.

Anyone know if the anniversary is still available for fills at the brewery? Considering stopping by after work, though I really wish they'd post what's currently available before opening.

Do they fill flip tops though?

Collaboration with Barrier Brewing Co sounds good.

    Beermenus probably. It's $19 for 32oz.

Good point, It must have been taken down. It was up there a few hours ago though. If you look they only have 9 beers listed but they have 10 taps. Maybe they pulled it for some reason, or just pulled it from beermenus to prevent a crush of people stopping by? Who knows.

That wouldn't surprise me. I went to the original location today even though I work closer to the newer one. Eh. I'm happy with what I got. But I would have splurged for the 2nd Anniversary if I went there.

Anyone who was there last night know what's on right now and if they're still going growler fills for 2nd anni?

Yeah, M&H definitely had it up on beermenus earlier. Maybe they got slammed? I'd be surprised though, I've generally found it to be pretty quiet at the Chelsea location.

I was snooping around Instagram and I ran into a place in Long Beach serving it. Debating whether or not I should go.

I'm hearing it will be called Half & Half.......

One Mile House just announced a tap takeover on 2/20. Other Half, Barrier and Threes. They will have both collaboration beers + 2nd anniversary.
