    Other Half Brewery - http://www.otherhalfbrewing.com/, https://instagram.com/otherhalftaproom/

Address: 195 Centre St Brooklyn, NY 11231

Tap Room Hours: Wednesday through Friday: 5 pm to 10 pm, Saturday: 12 pm to 10 pm, Sunday: 12 pm to 6 pm

Closest Subway Station: Smith-9th St (F and G Train)

Directions From Subway: Walk West on W.9th Street to the intersection, Make a Left on Smith St, walk two blocks and make a right on Centre St, Tap Room is halfway down the block across from the McDonalds. (Approx. 2 min walk)

Parking: Street parking is available near the brewery, but it can be difficult to find an open spot. Parking a few blocks away is suggested. Please don't park at McDonalds.

Current Tap List: Checking Untappd is the best way to find out what is currently available. Pours are available in 4oz/8oz/12oz/16oz depending on the beer. Tasting flights are not available.

Growler Fills: Other Half uses a Counter Pressure fill system. This requires that all 32oz and 64oz growlers have a 1.125” standard threaded opening.

Other Half branded growlers require a $5 deposit. Growlers from other breweries are welcome, but must follow those measurement guidelines. Not all beers are available for growler fills, please check the tap room menu board for details.

Can and Bottles Sales: Cans and Bottles are for sale in the tap room when they are available. Releases are announced via Other Half’s Instagram/Twitter/Facebook. Can releases occur every 2 to 3 weeks. Bottle releases are more sporadic. Cans and Bottles cannot be consumed on the premises.

I actually really liked it a lot, especially for a session.

Forever Ever<< Superfun << Small Green Everything
All 3 are tasty but Small Green is the only one I'd prefer over certain single and double ipa's. Doesn't even taste like a session
Edit: I missed out on Baby Diamonds. Would love to see how that one stacks up with the other 3 I listed

I think I agree with this take. I think both Superfun and Forever Ever a clear step below Baby Diamonds, which when fresh tasted up there with some of the best session IPAs I've had. I remember really liking Small Green Everything but would want to try it again - I'm guessing it falls above Superfun and Forever Ever, but below Baby Diamonds.

Baby Diamonds was the clear winner of the two, but Forever Ever is still no slouch.

This is an OH thread comparing OH sessions...you Sir are breaking the rules

...but ya, plenty of good sessions out there, and ya I’m biased towards Carton as well, but was extremely impressed with Maine Beer II. Nonetheless, 18th Street Temporal Purgatory, Lawsons Super Session, Alpine Hoppy Birthday and of course Bissell Brothers are all tasty…lots a good one’s out there, and perhaps a conversation for another thread

Microgreen is OH's best session beer. But yes, I'll take a Boat. Best beer on earth, to this guy.

No one mentioned Whirlpool from Night Shift which is probably better than all of the rest.

I agree. I was shocked how awesome baby diamonds was but I'm really enjoying forever ever. I also have quite the soft spot for boat. :grinning:

I'm in minority I know, but Superfun is my still my favorite of their sessions/pales.

In other news, I'm glad there is a new thread. Towards the end, the last one made me sad.

Would it be safe to say the next can release will be in 2 weeks? That would put it around Jan 16/17. Since this last one was yesterday (Thursday). Any idea what the next 2 will be? Thinking about flying out that weekend for a short 2 night visit.

Next two are OH IPA and Oat Junkie 2.0 from what I've heard. And yeah... likely that Sat 1/16.

Forever Ever and Suparillo tasting pretty green, but still fantastic. Suparillo especially. Unreal stuff. Can't wait to see what 1-2 weeks does to these cans.

Suparillo is supagood. I loved Oat Junkie, hoping for more Tired Hands in my life (brewery is too far for me).
