I heard 700 allocations also.

 

I doubt it's 700 full allocations, just 700 of the collab since that has the lowest limits. That would make sense since they usually make about 250 cases of each. Only way it could be 700 is if they made 500 cases of the IPA.

 

Can't imagine this is sustainable. Sooner or later some city official gets wind of this and things will change. Can also see this leading to restrictive ordinances ruining things for all.

Oh, duh. Why didn't I think of wristbands = Oat, not everything . . .

 

Line is insane, lots of drinking going on. Ugh.

 

I know the drinking in line is frowned upon but they should have whoever is doing wristbands or someone from staff telling people they gotta stop. If no one at the brewery does anything itll keep happening until sonething negative does.

 

I remember the time I was able to go to their Barrel Aged In Absentia day when they first opened and have all versions without a line. Ahh those were the days.

 

People are hiding it when they pass by.

 

Love OH and their beers and dont mind the drive from Jersey but I might have to stick to just coming for growlers. These releases are getting crazier and crazier. This is the second time I drove to a release, saw the line and said screw that.

 

This is busier than street green, but it doesn't feel as out of control.

 

If you drink in line at least take your trash you animals.

 

People are pouring beer into proper glassware and drinking it in line. What the fuck?

 

It's funny...I told myself I'd never go to another OH collab can release after the Street Green fiasco, but I rationalized going to this one. I told myself "It's not gonna be as bad..Tired Hands doesn't have the hype Trillium does, the weather is gonna be worse...", etc. Lo and behold the line was way worse than Street Green's when I got there at 8:20 this morning.

Lesson learned. Sticking to their regular can releases from now on. There are better ways to spend a Saturday than standing in line for hours for two 4-packs of the beer you want.

 

WF Bowery has loads of fresh Lizard King which is more than an adequate consolation prize...

 

For all of you thread watchers out there, the first car has been towed away from the McDonalds lot. Priceless.

They actually slim jimmed this guys door to take it out of park in order to haul it away. I want to buy those guys a beer.

 

Which guys the tow truck or the dudes who have to Uber back to New Jersey?
