No, at least not yet, 3oz and 12oz pours only.

As far as I remember, with Street Green they weren't doing fills same day, but it was available for fills later in the week.

People need to stop crying about drinking beers in line. The people who are doing it clearly don't care what you think or have to say and nothing is going to change until the police or other half has a problem with it.

Yea, I agree with this. Complaining isn't accomplishing anything, and the drinking appears to be pretty tame and not causing any problems. When I got up towards the front of the line, one of the guys from OH asked the guy ordering if he drank anything good while in line. Not in an accusatory way or anything, just friendly conversation. Obviously that's just one comment, but it leads me to believe that OH, or at least one of their employees, doesn't seem to care about line drinking as long as it's not causing issues.

They're apparently towing cars already, so can drinking in public tickets really be that far behind?

I really don't give a shit what people do. I'm almost always up for a beer. You want to bring a can or 2 and drink them CONSPICUOUSLY while waiting, fine, but to bring glassware and whalez to hang out on the street is fucking stupid and borderline maniacal. I, frankly, don't want to drink with people like that. If you want to slam me for my opinion go right ahead, but I'm just as entitled to my .02 as you are.

To be clear, the towing was all from the McDonald's parking lot as far as I could tell, so I don't think it has anything to do with the cops. That's on McDondald's.

Drinking in public tickets might come, but like I said above cop cars passed by somewhat frequently for the 4 hours I was in line and didn't do anything. They either weren't paying attention AT ALL or just don't care about the drinking. That could certainly change if nearby residents complain though. On the other hand, this is NYC and drinking on the streets in general isn't that uncommon and I've never personally witnessed a cop doing anything.

At some point the neighborhood will care. Every neighborhood cares about things like that. I don't live in that neighborhood, so drink away. You know where people drink in public or neighborhoods that don't care about that kind of shit? Bad neighborhoods.

    Neighborhoods.

Hugh. There's still plenty of beer and no line. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news to those that waited, but have at it locals!

I wish I was around for the McDonald's towing. I had a few cool people in line with me and I asked if they parked in that lot and none of them did. I know McDonald's gave them a (rightfully) hard time about it during suparillo. There's parking to be had, you might have to walk a bit but better than a tow bill.

I haven't done any drinking in line but I'm fine with opening a beer or two and putting it in some cups but having bottles all over and leaving trash behind is a bit ignorant.

To the guy that asked about the collaboration fills, it was only 4oz and 12oz pours. Glad to see it's still around this late in the day. I wasn't going home and coming back so I waited and the 2-4pks off the bat I'm sure greatly attributed to that. Overall a good day. Even scored a Grimm bottle after.

I've been the recipient of several drinking in public tickets in NYC, as have many of my friends. It happens all the time if you come across a cop who gives a crap.

Gotcha, I might just be lucky then. Anyway, this is gonna be my last post about drinking in line - it's not a productive conversation. I didn't mean to advocate for or against drinking in line, just wanted to relay what I saw in line today. It didn't seem like anyone (cops, OH, etc.) cared about line drinking, and nobody was causing any issues that I could see. There might be consequences, there might not - I think the people doing it know the risks entailed. I just think rehashing this conversation every release on here is a waste of time.

Their twitter said 50 cases of orbit 3 hours ago. 12 bottles/case I think? I can't imagine they went through 600.

So kjrod20 and I decided to balk on Other Half when we woke up at 8am and heard the line was around the block. Drove down to Kane to pick up the barrel aged Silent Nights and Carton for some Regular Coffee. On our way back through Brooklyn we saw Oat Overdose hadn't sold out yet so we stopped and just picked up a case, at 4pm. I'd say we had a pretty successful day.

I'm thinking of making the trip up on Sunday the 24th. Could I have a recommendation for a bar with a great tap list, great food and will have the playoff games on?

Just got out of Other Half. Still have a good amount of everything, no limits on Oat Overdose.

Yup. I was the guy with the umbrella and the beach chair. Agree, the all green wristbands (ha) helped but would've been better if they switched colors or had numbers they could check. I didn't see line-cutting happening but I wasn't looking out for it either. The tree and towing incidents provided much needed entertainment.

Surprised it took two whole hours from when the brewery opens to get from the corner of Garnet to the front. Sloooooow.

I will have to look out for next time!

it seems the bottleneck is now people packing beer (of which I'm guilty) at the table rather than grabbing and moving.

I think the line should be wrapped around the block the other way towards the BQE. It's less residential.
