Stopping by around 5 to try the Peachwood Aged. Anyone else hitting this up?

 

wouldnt be surprised if line was wrapped around to garnet by then. oh well. i havent had my OH fix in weeks, so time to make a trip.

 

I don't think it will be that bad, Suparillo was bad because of all the out-of-towners due to Christmas and New Years. I think this should be more normal lasting until mid to late afternnoon.

 

I know this will be very unpopular in this thread but oh well. Just had We've Been Out There in Orbit on tap. Completely underwhelmed with the flavors in it, basically just boozy and sweet. OH IPAs are legit (Mosaic is the shit) but their other styles just don't seem to be there yet.

Kidding. I agree. Think some of the IPAs are fluffed a bit too

 

Just opened my second Suparillo. Wasn't impressed wit the first and even less so with the second. Boozy and boring. Does anyone else get pepper from it? I don't drain pour so I'll finish it but I expected much much better. Wonder if it's the wait time or refrigeration or some external factor. I like the Forever Evers from the same release and stored the same way

 

Suparillo has been very hit or miss for me... I drank 4/8 of my cans and loved three hated one (boozy burn).

 

Unfortunately couldn't make it tonight but might swing by for lunch tomorrow. How's the Peach-Wood Aged?

 

It wasn't tapped yet when I got there. Stuck around for about an hour, but then it started getting crowded and obnoxious. So yeah, also on the tomorrow plan

 

Peachwood is super clean and just the right amount of tartness. I couldn't find the peach but I still enjoyed it.

 

I've only had one Suparillo and thought it was super good. Granted, I also really liked Amarillo. I just really dig single-hop beers.

 

not excited for the line in these cold temperatures lately.

hopefully cans are solid this week.

 

Just read off of their Instagram that they received a centrifuge. Not really too sure what it does but know it has something to do with filtering, I know some other half beers aren't filtered anyone have any thoughts on what this could mean? More filtered beers and if so would quality and taste change

 

I'm pretty sure it's used for removing yeast and other benefits I would imagine. I would think it should be able to keep a more consistent beer and will definitely be able to help boost production amounts.

 

Just an FYI, it looks like TiredHands is selling Oat Overdose as well as Oat Potion on Sunday. Explains the 2 4pack limit at OH Saturday, and I guess we can just hope this means less people coming up Saturday to OH since they can get the same allotment down there.

 

Where do you see that? Neither of their instagram posts seem to indicate that.

It says cans for sale Saturday at OH and bottles for sale Sunday at OH.
