OH is on the streets of New York City, the line extends out on the city streets where people live and businesses operate. It is illegal to drink in the streets of New York City. Please don't do this, it is only going to cause problems for Other Half and all of us who love their beer and their taproom. I don't want to sound like an ass, but looks like you are coming from out of town, please come, respect the neighborhood and OH and enjoy the cans you are going to get.

Also, drinking the cans inside OH is not allowed, I am assuming because of state alcohol laws.

Just wanted to say i was in town from Pittsburgh for the AGE and Hop Showers release the Thursday before Memorial Day and had a great time. I didn't get there until 630 or 7 and got cans in under 20 minutes, then hung out and drank for an hour or two. Awesome place, great beers, nice people. Will be back this weekend, not looking to pick up any cans but still very much looking forward to it. Cheers Other Half Thread Folks

Part of me expects that it won't be as easy as previous weekday releases just because the Galaxy is a new can. The worst lines are always first releases. The first AGE (though it was a Saturday) was pretty nutty. The beer sold out by 11:30 or so but subsequent releases have seen it last throughout the day. The popularity of AGE with the new Galaxy cans might make this a popular release.

Sarcasm is very hard to sell in the written word, I was kidding. I have a 2 hour drive each way, I will not be drinking.

No guns, no drinking in line, no sense of humor? Why did I move here again?

The Galaxy is so fruity. Almost as juicy as the Mosaic. So glad they brought this one back.

I think this was covered in the last thread that got shut down, but someone mentioned a good place to eat a couple blocks away, anyone remember or know it?

The original thread is still there, but tons of posts so finding the food posts could be tough to find.

A couple of places I have went that I really liked are Court Street Grocers, awesome sandwiches. Kimchi Grill which is right by the subway makes really good tacos and has an assortment of other Korean food.

For a nice dinner there is Frankies, Prime Meats, and Buttermilk Channel. For a good lunch go to Court Street Grocer. All of these places are right up Court street about a 5 minute walk.

Just spitballing here, but what would everyone think if we put together a generic/boilerplate post consolidating local eats, unwritten rules for taproom do's and dont's, etc. It could then be included in the first post of each new monthly thread.

I feel it would keep the threads on track and reduce the repetition and clutter. Happy to help put something together as well. JMO.
