Really just want 1 4-pack of AGE, and maybe 1/2-case of Hop Showers. Do I really need to get there long before open again?

Probably not for the hop showers! It's nicely underrated.

Didn't AGE last at least a couple of hours? I'm planning on rolling in at 11 like I usually do...

What time arrival is recommended to grab some cans? Is 9:30 safe?

I think AGE sold out by 1pm? someone correct me if I'm wrong.

That was also the most super-hyped release since it was AGE's first canning after EBF or whatever

I have given up trying to predict how big the lines get. The optimistic part of me hopes to be able to just roll in at 1pm and grab a couple of 4 packs with no problem. I am going Saturday as I had planned to just go and hang out. If I get some cans, great, if not, so be it. I believe last release of AGE was sold out by 11am or so with lines around the corner.

I should be there around 12/1pm or so, if you are there will buy you a beer.

my dilemma is that I can't spend a lot of time in Brooklyn; I made plans with my wife so I really do need to get in/get out (as much as that's possible with a beer release that you line up for lol). working in my favor is that I really won't be broken up if I don't get AGE, I mostly just wanted to nab some for a couple friends

Surgical strike could be tough, without waiting in line best bet would maybe be around 11:30 or so?

I hope everyone continues to roll in for these releases at 9:30am. Makes it that much easier for me to walk straight into the garage at noon. And yes, I realize AGE is the exception.

So I stopped in tonight to fill a growler... AGE @ $20 for a 32 oz growler. Seems high considering 4 packs go for $20.

thats pretty much the price you pay to drink it there if I'm not mistaken.

Seems high considering this growler is going home with me. I guess the can run is worth it.

I thought in NY at least you couldn't drink a growler on premise? I wonder what were the other fill prices? Seems very high - especially since places nearby like Whole Foods sometimes has it for half that.

i was saying a single pour in the brewery is 7 dollars if i recall correctly for 8-12 ounces. if you multiply it by 3. it costs the same to drink it there as it does to carry out.

i saw super fun on growler the other day for around 26 for a 64. so yeah that does seem steep.

but than again so does 5 dollars a beer when considerable beers such as heady and sip go for 3.75. treehouse stuff costs 4 dollars a can.

i guess its that nyc premium we all know too well.

The cans are priced to move asap. But a $20 growler is cheaper than 4 $7 8 oz pours.

Tap list at closing time tonight. Prob be similar tomorrow:

yeah ouch. IMHO not on par with something like S&S 4 or 5 which i just paid 22.00 for 64 ounces for, or 64 oz (4 tallboys) of heady for 15...or even 72oz (6 pack) of grapefruit sculpin for 14.99...etc etc. Cans seem the no-brainer in this case.
