Let's not also forget that spring weather is upon us so the garage will be slammed. Great release line-wise last weekend, but outside was crammed pretty tight.

Thanks for the heads up. Ideally was planning for a growler fill or two for Sunday, but unsure how that'll go now.

Oh if you are just filling growlers go later in afternoon. Like 3/4 onwards. Place will be a disaster in the morning

Agreed - I have unfortunately not been to a release in months. It's not that I don't mind waiting - it's that their lines should not be taking as long as they take. Anyone know if All Citra Everything will be kegged for disbursement? Their single hop beers tend to not get as much distro as the others.

All Citra Everything sounds great. 50/50 I'll be out of town that weekend but otherwise I'll probably be there. I do wish they'd stick to fewer options on these bigger hype releases - I've noticed that more choices makes the line move even slower. This past release I got from the corner to done in under an hour, the release before that had 3 bottle options in addition to 2 cans and took nearly 2 hours to go the same distance.

Changing the topic somewhat, did anyone try Double Mosaic Dream last night? How was it? And are they doing fills?

Double mosaic is excellent. Had it in the taproom last night. Currently no fills of it. A matter of fact, they really weren't doing growler fills of almost half their available beers. Make it Rain kicked on top of it too. Double mosaic needs to get in growlers though.

Also I'm backing the opinion on how good the Galaxy cans are right now. Dynamite. Like everyone else, I wish I bought the full allotment. Oh they're not doing growler fills of this either!

For those who have tried double mosaic, does it reminded you more of the mosaic cans or to the single hop mosaic on tap now.

Tried the new batch on draft and to be completely honest only got through half a 12 oz of it before I decided to move on to something less grassy and abrasive

I believe the majority of it will be canned. Perhaps a few kegs will make it out, but not much.

Loving Double Mosaic Dream. Looks like the centrifuge is being put to good use this beer is clear as glass. Fantastic stuff!

Double Mosaic Dream is very good. Not quite epic based on what you might think it could be based on previous batches(not the recent) of Mosaic though.

Was disappointed with Galaxy on tap. I really love it out of the can but it tasted like a different beer on draft. Maybe it's toward the end of the keg or something. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I just filled a growler of the Double Mosaic Dream at my local bottle shop. It's damn delicious. Definitely grassy but I would say assertive and not abrasive.

Yessir. I've been been hit or miss finding some of the random OH beers on tap lately so I wanted to make sure I tried this one.

Drinking a Galaxy now, and this is awesome. Super dialed in. I like it way more than I remember liking it last time. Wish I had gotten more of this and less Get Wheated.

I'm not trying to knock Other Half here, they make amazing beers and they are a booming brewery with limitless potential, but their releases are absolute insanity. Maybe it's the tiny brewery they have, maybe it's their time management of having their tap room and release room open at the same time. Every time I've been there, it has been at least two hours before open, and there have been over 200 people in line and it takes me 4 hours to get beer. I just came back from tree house today, got there two hours before opening and was out 15 minutes after they opened. Sorry Other Half, love your beers but I don't think I'll be at your can releases for a while

Maybe other half gets a kick back from task rabbit. The 4 hour line makes it a simple decision to me just to either pay someone to pick it up or buy it from someone. After that Street green release I don't think I'll ever go back again, they just have a very poor system and zero urgency in keeping the line moving.

totally agree. OH's checkout system is a fucking disaster. there is absolutely no reason for that line to take that long just for cans. as others have said treehouse cycles 1000+ people through the line on busy nights, and they are only open for 3 hours on thurs and friday...they clearly don't really care, but it's one of the main reasons i've entirely given up on going to any marginally hyped up release
