    To play devil's advocate to your devil's advocate, the issue there seems to be that there are people that will drink and drive, period. If they are doing it after an OH release, presumably they also hit bars and breweries of parties or whatever, get wasted, and then drive. There is nothing innate to the OH can release that causes/validates/encourages such behavior.

    100% people are doing this. I forget what release it was but I was at Carton on a Saturday and some guys was barging about the epic bottle share and how he got drunk at Other Half while waiting in line....and then proceeded to drive to Carton....

    I'm guessing this is the same person you see on untappd every release. Pretty sure they use the exact words "epic line share" repeatedly. Good to know they are being responsible afterwards. If you're planning to get up at the ass crack of dawn to drive to Brooklyn, drink a bunch of beer, and then drive afterwards, I'd wager to say you have serious issues.

    Actually this just gives the police the option to give you a summons instead of arresting you. You still have to go face a judge and he'll determine whether or not to give you a fine.

    It's more about relieving the court systems since arrest cases take up more time and resources than a simple summons.

    Do can releases always occur on Saturday? I'm thinking of stopping in Friday 3/11 on my way down to Philly.

    OH will sometimes do Thursday releases, but that's few and far in between. I only recall two(?) since they began canning. The norm is for every other Saturday releases, which means you will be in luck should you stick around until next Saturday before Philly.

    I just wanted to chime in and say that I had both All Green Everything and Make It Rain for the first time over the weekend and I was absolutely blown away by both beers. I'd only split cans of a couple other OH beers prior to this, so it was my first real experience getting to sit and enjoy their stuff, and I was damn impressed. These guys are absolutely making some of the best hoppy beers out there.

    Theres a couple of locations that have good beers in the upper manhattan area,

    Buddha Bar ( they don't clean their lines tho)

    Bronx Alehouse

    Hogshead Tavern

    when i was in search of it was for the alehouse but they don't do deliveries above 96 street, which leaves Harlem the Bronx and Washington Heights out of their distribution completely

    They have been typically announcing the next upcoming can releases about 1.5 weeks out. Anyone have any idea what they will be? I had heard in the previous thread that either Galaxy or Mosaic was a possibility.

    Wasn't their brew day with those guys only 6 or 7 days ago? Doesn't seem like enough time to let the beer to ferment and can.

    I've seen some check ins on Untappd lately for Mosaic so hoping that is one of the beers at the next release.
