    Good. It's about time.

    I was almost starting to soften up on people drinking in line because of the fact that cops would drive/walk by regularly and do nothing. Glad they're finally taking a stand.

    Who knows? Maybe this will deter some people from showing up to can releases and turning them into the shitshows that they are.

    Halfway between Centre and Garnet everyone is still drinking, proper glassware too. Haven't seen the cops here yet. Like shares actually seems to be heavier than usual (not a complaint, just an observation).

    There was a marked car around 720 that stopped and talked plenty of drinking around and they just let them.

    I've been coming to Other Half for can since the first superfun and green diamonds releases and I think this one may have broken me and be my last. Totally not worth it when I can grab these beers on draft.

    It's a party on centre st. up front I'm probably 1 of 5 people not drinking in the first 40 people.

    I would have a hard enough time dedicating the time and resources to going to OH (and then home) on a day I'd rather spend with my family (I have late weekday hours) but this post is exactly the clincher why I never. I almost never have a problem scoring a growler somewhere in the city in the next 7-10 days. Even a buddy who used to give me a can or 2 from Saturday releases and he stopped going to the "crazy" ones because it was too much of a nuisance. I told him I don't blame him.

    im always conflicted about this. i'm not gonna say i've never drank in a public park before, and that im not picky about glassware at home, but using proper glassware while youre drinking on the sidewalk in gowanus at 8am in the morning seems silly.

    Just heard cops saw a guy drinking from a can and asked him about it. Guy said he was waiting in line for the recycle center, haha. Cop continued and was gonna write him a ticket but then the guy looked around and said if you're gonna give me a ticket gotta give everyone else a ticket too. He avoided one and then that brought out the official warnings
