Yeah I will say the Cascade is changing a lot as it ages a little. Tastes a lot different that it did when I had them off the line on Friday.

Not better or worse, just different. The bright pine-ness has changed to a more fruit forward flavor. As it warms up I noticed a bit more alcohol heat. I have more of these so I will see how it changes in the next week and more.

Well that got me to open another can. I agree it has definitely changed a bit already. In a good way.

Last night as I split my last can of Amarillo with my wife thanks to @RobNewton (who is the most generous man in the world), she declared it her favorite IPA ever. Her previous favorite was sip of sunshine. And I would agree with her to a point- Amarillo is drinking even better than it was two weeks ago right now, wish I had a few more cans. I only bring this up because everyone is mentioning how the cans "age" or change over time. I bought my full allocation, plus part of a buddy's for the late July release of AGE and drank my last can two weeks ago. I was amazed how the booziness had faded ever so slightly, making it insanely drinkable for 10%. That late July release of AGE(and Galaxy too which was outstanding) was among the best IPA experiences I've ever had. Hope to meet some of you for late October(halloween) or early November can release.

you guys who keep saying that IPAs need to sit for a few weeks before being "ready" to be drank...c'mon now...

maybe your taste buds can't handle the hop assault of super fresh IPA, but that's you. some people like to put a little water in bourbon...that's them. some people like to douse a fine steak in ketchup...you get the point.

can we please try to get over all the fighting about which is "better" and all the official recommendations on how many sugars make your coffee taste best for you? sure you guys can and should share your opinions as we are genuinely interested in them and that's why this thread is here, to trade info...but if your opinion is different than someone else's, they are not wrong. you are not wrong. you have different tastes. relax and enjoy a beer...maybe put your notebook down for a minute and just live in the moment and stop worrying about ranking and who's beer peen is longer...

(for those who know me personally...this coming from me is very odd since i'm a full on geek about beer, but after reading 3 pages of argument on who's opinion is more valid is silly)
