For those of you who have been to Cooper's before, do you expect it to get real busy? Missed the early train and prob wont make it till about 8pm. Would love to be able to get a seat.

 

I'm here right now. No seats at the bar, but there can't be more than 3 people standing behind us. Lots of open space til the bar tables with seats scattered here and there. The majority of the dining room area tables are empty.

Few more bodies have come in. Still comfortable standing room, but I suspect by 7 it'll get packed (when the event was advertised to start). If you're on the fence, get off it. Quality way to sample NY's finest.

 

Seriously? I'm the only one here from BA? Meh - I suppose it'll make this Saturday that much better at Other Half.

To keep it simple, the bartenders are pouring in the order the beer is listed on the board. Smart if you ask me.

 

@BoardwalkBock you'll be fine. Still standing room, but the brewers from Barrier and Other Half are also standing. So there's that.

Hows the food? Menu looks good but some of the offers seem big and/or heavy. Guessing I should just have a little snack before.

 

The muscles and truffle fries smelled delicious. They have an above-average kitchen for a bar so I don't think you'll be disappointed.

 

I was sitting at the bar, but had to leave after my third pint.

 

I was there with @farnold @Roze @SkiBum22 and @sobeleg. Had a blast! We commandeered one of the long community tables in the seated area. Sorry no one was checking BA! Green Diamonds was my fave of the night, and Other Half was my brewery of the night. Every single beer I drank of theirs (4 total) was at least very good. Psyched to have such a high-quality up-n-comer in my backyard!
