However the woman who stacked up 5 cases on a hand truck... Yeah I'm not sure what that was all about

 

Much as I hate hype and shitshows, and perhaps he/she could have been more aware of the tone in the thread - BUT what have they actually done wrong here?

 

figure it can only get better considering this was the first release of AGE, arguably their most well-known beer.

 

Just raised two questions I've been wondering about: Are lots of these trades getting done? (Been seeing many more FTs than ISOs.) Also, and I know there's been a bit of past discussion on this topic, is OH's reputation, especially with releases like this one, really approaching those of the MA/VT greats?

 

If anybody has a spare 4-pack of AGE and is interested in some Voodoo, I'd love to work something out. My buddy got shut out (I didn't have the heart to ask him to get in line earlier because he was already doing me a huge solid by offering to go) and I was hoping to pop this at my wedding next Saturday.

Also, to those people who missed AGE, OH just tweeted that they will have more cans in a couple weeks. Not to mention that it seems to always be on tap and available for growler fills.

Just got back from Barrier - one of their new IPAs - Suburbs - was amazing, kind of a lower ABV version of their Dunegrass DIPA. Picked up growlers of that, Rembrandt Porter and Simple Common. Also on tap was Smack Dab - the TAP NY winning IPL.

 

Bummed to miss out on AGE (showed up at 11:30) but Mosaic is awesome and worth the trip.

Important note in their statement on Bushwick Fine Fare, can releases every other week for the foreseeable future. That's a great thing to hear.

Saw an SUV being loaded with case after case with a guy joking about if you dont get any come to ______ market. Probably the assholes hoarding and overpricing it

 

Also, OH tweeted they'll be releasing more AGE in "less than 2 weeks." Does that mean a Thursday/Friday release before Memorial Day?

 

How are we supposed to know how many people a trunk shot is tied to?

 

Unfortunately I'm on my way back from VA, I knew it was there since I spoke to them earlier this week. Hope there's still some left tomorrow!

Good to hear. With this news I'm glad I missed the shitshow today and got to enjoy some killer Berliners at J Wakefield instead.
