For me Hop Showers was way too dry and thin - I guess I definitely do not go for that style of IPA.

Yeah that was the first beer I really loved from OH. Was drinking it the other night - definitely one of their best

Had they never expanded past AGE, GD, and Hop Showers, I don't think their reputation would be any different than it is today, and I think the lines for Hop Showers would be similar to that for the other two. I think they've just brewed Hop Showers less frequently over time, and 7% IPAs just don't get the same love as its two bigger brothers. I can't wait for them to bring out those Hop Showers cans that got tweeted some time ago, however.

So, their brewery room is still packed with barrels, but it feels like the barrel program has almost gotten forgotten for the sake of all the canning. Any insiders know if they are going to move away from their barrel stuff? Limit it to quiet releases?

    7% definitely plays a part.

I drank AGE and Hop Showers over the weekend. If I could have an unlimited supply of one of them, it would be HS no question

The barrel aged stuff will continue. I just think they're letting some things sit for a while and release them in the Fall/Winter

Loving all these canned ipa releases but I'm awaiting the return of one beer in particular from OH.
    3 words: Cool. Summer. Bro.
I hope to god they brew this again. Them canning it would be a dream come true but as long as I can sip some in the tap room and take a growler home like last summer I'll be fine.
If anyone gets word that they are brewing it again please post that news here asap.

Even with all this hype over AGE, Mosaic is currently leading AGE on untappd and BA. May just be due to the fact that the beer is super-fresh, but I have to agree it's prob the best OH beer I've had thus far.

This batch of AGE I found to be very booze-present when normally I have hard time telling how high ABV it is. Anyone else in the same boat?

haven't had one yet but I suspect it has something to do with the canning. I find GD to be boozy as fuck out of the can too, whereas on draft it's not

I agree that fresh GD cans are boozy, for my tastes I find the sweet spot to be a can with about 2-3 weeks on it. I don't feel AGE is boozy so I'm curious what a few weeks on these cans will do.

btw, not sure if they're BAers, but thanks to Brian and Ian for keeping my GF (short Korean) company in line. She wanted to surprise me while I was out of town with a few 4packs.

She might've been right in front of me in line. If so they got the last two 4-packs of AGE!

Just curious, let's say I decided to go into BFFM and destroy all of the OH products they have in the store. Would I be in trouble with the law? Being that they're already selling it illegally, how could they accuse me of anything?
