I'm still worried about getting shut out...thinking I'm 7pm eta

 

If I remember correctly, they opened early that first Friday they sold cans- like noon or so? I wonder if that will be s.o.p. for weekdays- although you do have to wonder how long the cans will last. If they reduce the limits then that could help- either that or you have to figure the majority of people will be coming after 5pm.

Oh well, I won't be sticking around that long then (I'm out at 3pm). I'll just have to continue getting growlers from elsewhere...

Would Saturday be easier for most people? Yes. But I actually don't mind a Thursday release. I can't make it since I work in Northern NJ. But this release helps keep it local and also, since the last AGE can release was a saturday, mixes it up.

Good choice OH, IMHO! Just keep the limits low so there is more to go around.

Wonder what the mystery beer would be. Hop Showers? More Green Diamonds? G is for Green?

 

Whatever day it is, I'm not going to line up for cans of beer that I can get on draft/growler, because I'm fortunate enough to live less than a mile away. But I think it makes sense for them to mix things up, so that they can continue to refine the process to see what works and what doesn't.

 

I didn't go to the last release since it was a Saturday and I knew it would be crazy, hoping Thursday will be like the first Green Diamonds release (went straight from work, got there at 5 and there were maybe 6 people in the tap room). If it does turn out to be like that I hope maybe OH will consider rotating days/times for each release.

 

I think that's the best option - it's not as though they're not producing every 2 weeks. Release once on the weekend (allowing out of towners/workers to get some) and then on a Thursday to try to make sure their "base" is able to get some without too much craziness.

 

Mystery beer? Where did u see that? It seemed like just AGE was being released but if there is something else that would be awesome.

 

The facebook post that joehill posted mentions another beer coming too.

 

The other beer is dependent on their can supplier. That makes me think it's hop showers because they announced those can designs along with the AGE a while back, and haven't seen anything since about it. For me, I really like the Thursday release because it's kind of a hat tip to the locals...hopefully it won't be a disaster, as I plan on heading over after work. Sure, most releases can be on saturdays so that everyone can get them, but I do appreciate the thursday releases from time to time so i (theoretically) don't have to worry as much/wait in line.

This Thursday!!! 5pm at the brewery! Hop Showers IPA and All Green Everything can release! 2, Four pack max on All Green Everything. 4, four pack limit on Hop Showers. AGE is $20/4 pack. Hop Showers is $16/4 pack. If supplies last, we will continue the sale on Friday at 5pm. We will update inventory as the day progresses so everyone knows how much beer is left. We are unable to sell cans this weekend do to production conflicts and events so that is the reason for the Thursday/Friday release. Cheers!

 

Those Hop Showers cans are sweet! Hope I can snag one sometime in the future!

ok im good w/ not being able to buy a cs. never hoarded, just covered my locals so they didnt have to make the trip just like they would do for me....at least i dont have to worry about BFF depleting the inventory before i get there
