Anyone going to be at Other Half on Thursday? I might make a trip there and also try to find a glass of Everett somewhere.

Is this confirmed? I asked about the bottle release last Thursday and they said they had no clue when.

    not confirmed.
though for those keeping score, the 2 beers bottled seem to be confirmed now -

    according to this:
    http://firstwefeast.com/drink/other-half-brewing-ride-along/
"The team recently bottled its first beer—a 7.8%-ABV, chardonnay barrel-aged saison called Veldrijden Love"

and it sounds like this saturday they bottled barrel aged imperial stout.

From what they told me the only really "limited" release they have is the Imperial Stout aged in whiskey barrels - only a few hundred bottles. The farmhouse ale aged in wine barrels should have 1200+ bottles, if I remember correctly, so even if it is released it might last with reasonable limits.

Asked Anthony about release and he thought there would be limits, Saturday release, and bottles would be held back for subsequent Thursday. Sounded like reasonable approach so as many people can try as possible. Just speculation but thought I would share.

Cue the stampeding herds making a bee line for Brooklyn to grab the Imperial Stout aged in whiskey barrels ! I hope they don't drink up all the IPAs while they are there !

Has anyone tried their imperial stout? I see only a few reviews on BA... and wondering if the barrel-aged version is going to be worth a trek out to Gowanus (sorry, I'm lazy).

I've had it a few times and it's solid. Can't wait to see what barrel-aging does for it.

The Imp Stout was in red wine barrels. I got to try this the other night. Still carb-ing but tasting fantastic. V Love should see release first though.

I was in Brooklyn the other night. Went to the brewery to pick up some growlers. Parking sucked so my gf ran in with empty ones from a different brewery. I heard ny was lax with their growler laws. Turns out they didn't accept them, which Is fine. However she was charged $20 each for a 32oz growler of All Everything Green. Does anyone know if this is the price for 32s or was she charged the 64 oz price?

That is the price for 32 ounces. Very expensive but the stuff is great. 8 ounces of it was $7.

they don't care about growlers with another logo on them, they just won't fill swing top growlers (and possibly the flimsy cap ones). i think it's because they counter pressure fill or something, they only will fill ones with a screw top that has the little plastic piece underneath the cap.
