Had Cool Summer yesterday - really nice and light, not a ton of brett but enough that you know it's there.

I should be there in about an hour. Then on to Transmitter in LIC later in the day if anyone feels adventurous.

Cool Summer was excellent, really tasty, refreshing, and light funk notes to go with the excellent hop choices. Concentrated on their best beer though, All Green Everything, which is one of the top 3 IIPA in NYS AFAIC. Me. Want. More.

All Green Everything knocked it out of the ballpark. Just finished my growler. Fantastic batch.

Warms my heart to see you in the borough I was born in enjoying our beer !

    BTW, what does AFAIC mean?

Got there today around 4 and had a flight along with an 8oz pour of All Green Everything. After that I got a pint of Cool Summer, which was my favorite from what I drank today. The 2 people pouring the brews were attentive and easy going.
Oh yea and they were playing Saab Stories by Action Bronson, who is a favorite of mine.
Had a good time there today..I'll be back for sure.

Yeah I grabbed a half growler of the All Green Everything and a full growler of Hop Showers.

Also tried the cool summer and the koksijde 12. Both delicious.

Did anyone else get septic tank smell from Cool Summer? My friend and I smelled it and looked at each other right away. Not the funk I was hoping for. Koksijde was great, though.

If you google - Mad Fermentationist fecal - you'll see he has a few notes on it with beers that use brett. I've had plenty of funky beers, but this was just the first time I've had a beer where that came to my mind. At least I hope it was the brett and not just a dirty glass... ha.

Also, I am very pro Other Half, just wanted to see if others had a similar experience.

Mr. Cavedave, anxiously awaiting your detailed review of All Green Everything...... Oh wait, scratch that !

Anyway, how do you compare this to our beloved Higher Standard?

Yeah I felt the brett was very subdued in the glass I had, almost not noticeable. The wheat was so forward that the brett seemed like an after thought. I was expecting more sourness.
