If they don't, just drink everything else. You won't be disappointed no matter what they have on tap.

Oh, and if Crookdrain is right, it sounds like they'll have Green Diamonds back on this weekend, which by all accounts is better than everything they were pouring over the last two weekends (though, with Other Half, it's likely a game of inches).

I once sampled the Lembeek and thought, "That's nice, I'll order one." It was only when I had the full glass in front of me that I realized I ordered an odd one.

I've enjoyed everything else I've had from them. Probably Veldrijden Love the most.

Hoping it's back - the first weekend I was there the bartender (not Matt, the other guy) told me it was about 2 weeks out. Forgot to ask them about it this past weekend. I'm sure they'll update their Twitter/FB with what's on for this weekend.

Oh and Galaxy IPA getting sent out to bars very soon - this past weekend was a "preview" weekend for the beer.

Yeah, I heard the Galaxy is going to be at the tap takeover at St. Gambrinus this Thursday.

Speaking of which, anyone know if the SG takeover will also include growler fills?

Just to check what I read above:
-They fill both 32 and 64 oz growlers (do they sell both?)
    -Screw top growlers only
    -Any other growler related information?

I only ask as the picture of their board they tweeted last weekend just shows 64 oz growler fill prices. Plus, I know places that counter fill get picky on which growlers they will fill. Am taking a subway on Friday so just need to be certain what I am bringing. Thanks in advance.

They started off filling any growler (non-screw top growlers required a trip to the brewery side to fill), but as the tasting room has gotten extremely busy and hectic, they now only fill screw top 32s and 64s from the counter-pressure fillers in the tasting room. Makes sense - they are a small operation with only 2 or 3 employees on at once and this past weekend, everyday was PACKED with people.

They sell 64oz growlers right now ($5) and are supposed to be getting 32s in soon. 32oz fill price is half the 64oz price - no mark-up currently.

Hup Hup Hup, Motueka Pale, and Other Half IPA are $14/64oz
    Citra/Galaxy/Hop Showers/Laste Ronde are $16/64oz
    All Green Everything is $24/64oz

All beers are $5/12oz or $6/16oz EXCEPT All Green, which is $5/8oz.
Flight of 4 beer tasters is $5 or $8 and you keep the glass. All Green is not included in the flight.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks! This is extremely helpful. I feel like a lot of breweries don't have good information on their growler policy so great to have helpful BAs.

To add to this, they did fill my 32 ounce growlers, but not on the machine as they did not fit. They took them to back which is more labor intensive, so going forward they said they will stop doing this. I hope they get their 32 ouncers in soon as I would rather get 32 ounce fills.

Damn, I really need to take a ride to this place for some fills. Guess I will sneak in one of these days when y'all aren't looking.

I liked All Green Everything (though it seems not as much as most people), but I thought their Citra which I had at Fools Gold last night was fantastic. Super drinkable, tons of fresh citra hops, no bitterness at all. One of the better NY IPA's I've had over the last year or two, up there with Higher Standard from Peekskill.

Last time you threatened to invade the downstate area (best beer on LI thread) we reinforced the borders. You may have to come over via Jersey to sneak in.

I have been down numerous times since then, still waiting to taste what you all claim to be great beer. Perhaps your claims to have reinforced your borders are as fanciful as other claims you have made?

Had the All Green Everything on tap at Birreria (sp?) at Eataly. Awesome beer. Reminded me of the good old days when I was living in southern California. Will be in the tap room very soon.

If anyone is going to the Other Half takeover at St. Gambrinus tonight, I'll be there around 6:30. Look for the tall guy with a blue and white fedora.

Did you find out about this via the facebook page? I would've loved to go had I known but I have to work till 9 and it seems they close at 10

Absolutely no idea. Hopefully not crazy crowded by the time I get there. Oh, and they are doing growler fills too, though no idea on pricing (have to imagine it will be more than at the brewery, which was $16 for everything except Wheat Wine and All Green Everything, which were $24).

Yeah, facebook, and I think it was on twitter once a week ago. St. Gambrinus isn't the best at self-promotion, but it's on brewyorknewyork.com as well, which I check more frequently than anything.
