Yep! I just enjoyed a glass of it. Got to drink it up before it disappears until next year!

Is the Green Diamonds coming the same version they have had all along? Where is this new board hanging?

Actually now I think it is. They have had Green Diamonds on tap so much I figured why would they advertise it coming back unless something was different. But I think it's just the normal GD.

That board has been there since the bottle release - it's right near the door to the brewery.

They killed it with Southernhopalistic. Really nice if u like the New Zealand hops. Got a growler for the weekend. Tried Cool Summer Bro and did not get a fecal matter smell. Whew! Was nervous about that after all the talk on here. Not bad. Revisited Citra and was a little disappointed, not as good as I remembered. Still have all green everything, but the bubbly smiley girl is strict about last call. (She has to be one of their girlfriends otherwise don't know why they would keep her around). Since they closed at 10:00, enjoying an AGE at Owl Farm 1/2 a mile away now.

Turns out I am a dumb ass and event is next Saturday! Drank at Other Half, headed to Wythe, at front desk girl had no idea what I was talking about, I looked at my ticket and saw September 13th and slinked out of there!

At least I had an awesome time at Other Half. Packed at 3:30. They opened up a drinking area at front of brewery. Southernhopalistic very good. New friendly female bartender too. Anthony is usual awesome self.

I can't make event next week, anyone wants my ticket for free its yours.

Had another red wine imperial stout today. I would have dumped this it it was one of my home brews. Easily the worst $80 I've ever spent.

Hey, for those of you who are interested, at the Taste Talks interview with Sam tomorrow, we're going to be tasting and serving samples of four beers: Other Half IPA, Green Diamonds (which was just kegged and tapped yesterday, and... holy shit), Koksijde 12 (which I will likely refer to as "the tripel" because I cannot pronounce it), and Cool Summer Bro!. I figure it'll be interesting to have him walk us through, describing the flavor profiles and all that. Tickets are still available here:

I'm debating dropping by around opening tonight, but I'm in a wishy washy mood. Have to come back into the city in order to take the bus home. I really want to try the southern-hemi hopped IPA tho.

    Decisions, decisions.

Get there, sounds like there is a brand new spanking batch of Green Diamonds. Where do you live?

Unfortunately I'm already on the way home. And where I live is kind of a loaded question. I sold my apartment in Gramercy back in July and have been nomading it since. Was in Manalapan for a bit and now I split time between parents house in Staten Island and girlfriends parents house in Stamford. For today, home is Staten Island. The new place is being gutted in Lennox Hill section of Manhattan.

I was planning on hitting up the tasting room tomorrow after the Captain Lawrence fest. So many sours....I'm going to need a malty beer.

I'll be there! I've drank all those beers many times already, but it'll be interesting to hear what Sam has to say about them.

(Thanks to @jrnyc for the ticket!)

I had my first bottle of the red wine barrel aged stout last night and was pretty bummed out that most of the negative reviews I've seen so far are true. It definitely wasn't a drain pour as some have said, but it definitely was not good. Every brewery has a miss now and again and this was definitely the worst offering I've had from them. Though I doubt he'll address it at today's event, it'd be interesting to know what Sam and the rest of the Other Half guys think about it. Anyone think it could improve with age?

All that said, I am still very excited to try their new IPA later today as I'm sure it'll be great. Hopefully those of you going to the event today will get an update on their plans to can their IPAs.

Bee tee dubs, this batch of All Green Everything is a true contender for best triple IPA I've ever had. Seriously.

Good talk with Sam and @MikeConklin. Seems Green Diamonds will be the first cans. Will the tasting room expand? Sam says he wants it, but no immediate plans.
