Tried some 1st Anni beer from the tank... holy bajeezus. That beer is gonna be fucked up. See y'all at the party.

 

Damn, I'm flying out for vacation on Saturday and going to miss the party. Hoping that special anniversary triple ipa is still available when I get back!

 

Blind Tiger is having a local beer night on Wednesday, it is on the list.

 

True, but some bitch named Juno is crashing the party.

As for Saturday, I'll be a tentative yes. I think I'm meeting up with my finances aunt and uncle at some point in Carroll Gardens, so some pre-pre-dinner drinks could be in the cards. Hmmmm what bottle should I bring?

 

Juno was a now show, just a figment of the imagination of overzealous weatherman and news people!!

I will probably be at OH starting at around 1pm, stay till about 5 or so.

Looks like B'Klyn Burro Burritos will be at Other Half for the anniversary.

The closest thing to a SF mission style burrito in NYC.

So, looks like a bunch of us will be there. Short of wearing our BA name tags, I will be there around 1pm or so wearing a Grey Pliny The Elder hat. A bunch of us know each other already, but if you don't know anyone, look for me and I am sure a bunch of us will be together.

Wondering how many people coming to this, I am sure they will be opening the front of brewery to accommodate more people.

 

I hope I can make this. Saturdays are always up-in-the-air as far as getting time to visit breweries.

 

Awesome...do you know if OH is generally cool with bottle sharing as well? Would like to bring some stuff, but not sure if it's taboo at the brewery (I thought I saw earlier in this thread that people were sharing bottles...but just want to check)

I'll most likely be wearing a blue buttondown and jeans, so I'll probably have to try to find you guys haha.

 

hmmm, good question. People definitely bring bottles and staff great about sharing them. But I would imagine if it got too prevalent it could be a problem. At the end of the day they are there to sell their own beer. But they have been great about sharing bottles. From time to time I bring some bottles as a gift, give them to Anthony and if he decides to pour them then or keep them for staff, either way works for me. I have never just brought bottles and opened them on my own though.

If you pour some for the staff and make yourself known, shouldn't be a problem.

I'll wear my hair down all crazy curly-like so you guys can ID me from a hundred feet away.

 

I did try the first anniversary IPA last night and it was awesome. It was my favorite of all the beers I tried at BT last night. OH definitely did not disappoint with this one. Enjoy it on Saturday, wish I could make it.
