This place is killing me with their hours. I'm literally right there during the week, but I'm gone by 3pm. :slight_frown:

Tough to fault the brewers for working (brewing, that is) during normal working hours. My guess is that the operation is still small enough that they can't afford to have someone working the taproom full time at this point.

Their stuff is also on tap all over the city (if it's any consolation).

Yeah, I get that part, it's just a little frustrating at this point being so close. That post probably came off a bit more negative than I intended it to, also.

That's good to know, and I'm definitely down for a pint the next time in there. A growler would be nice, but I'm sure it'll happen eventually.

Here's wishing Other Half nothing but success. Cheers!

So, who is in for the July 12th trip to the tasting room? Maybe between 12 and 2 arrival time? If you are coming reply to this post so we can get an idea of who is coming. Will be cool to hang out with fellow BAs and drink the awesome beer Other Half is producing.

Doesn't this mean you can hang in the area for an hour or two right before they open on Friday?

I went last weekend and everything was good but not blown away. Just had green diamonds and this is ridiculous. 1. Diamond 2. Hop showers 3. All green everything

Well, the ride home is pretty bad as it is, even leaving at 3, so I'm kind of reluctant to make it any later.

Hey. Glad to see you had a productive day in Brooklyn! Agree, Green Diamonds is great.

I am planning to be there, and considering how thirsty I am right now after no beer for over 2 weeks, I can only guess my thirst on the 12, first day I can drink again, will be even greater. Not sure if solo or with a friend, as no reply yet for my extra tix to Phish.

Last bit of Imperial Stout (the original batch from earlier this year) hit the lines over the weekend. Not sure if it lasted through Sunday, but was drinking fantastically on Friday night.

Other Half already has 4 of the top 10 beers in NYC according to Untappd:

Taste is subjective, but Billy Full Stack is nowhere near as good as Hop Showers.

Not to bring it off topic, but the only brewery I expected to see from Queens is Barrier.

Bringing it back to topic, really hoping the Impy Stout is still on draft lines this weekend. I may have read it here, but I think there were 7 kegs total when they put it on on Friday.

Sad to report but I'm pretty sure they said it was the last leg they had and by late fir there were only maybe 3 gallons left.

Would expect Barrier to be on the list too except they aren't in Queens. Oceanside is in Nassau County.
