I took that to mean a double batch not 2 releases but i guess we will see what happens the next couple of weeks.

I will be in NYC from the 20-27th. Bringing some Angry Chair and Cycle Stouts. Who wants to meet up? I am staying around 65th and Lex (UES) willing to travel anywhere. Not doing any of the Touristy stuff, just visiting family and drinking way too much. Plan to hit OH (hopefully there is a release ).

3 stouts in bottles @ OH, sounds like an unplanned trip to Gowanus is in store for this evening :-)

Both stouts are nice, but the cinnamon and vanilla in Get Busy are really potent. I usually love cinnamon in my stouts but this is a bit much.

Im game to meet up, there is a little bar on 60th and 2nd (UES) called city hops that is always cool with opening good bottles (as long as you get a pour or two there).

Odd that I am looking forward to the stout more than the other cans. Hopefully Short Dark and Breakfast will make it till Sunday. #Stoutboiz

So a Vermont yeast? Interesting....anyone have any insight here?

Makes me think of Hill Farmstead...

I honestly have no idea what it means, but once again, it's a good sign that OH continues to experiment with new yeast strains and not just hop profiles.

Probably Conan, its the strain used in Heady Topper.

Its definitely Conan, Vermont ale yeast means Conan. I guess this also narrow's their house strain but I'm not remotely surprised that its not Conan. If I had to hazard a guess, its either WY1317 or WLP007, most people have Tired Hands/HF pinned on the former and Trillium on the latter.

Old school OH in my book is hyper sweet with an overt candied malt profile. Simcoe + Wai-iti is a bit of a change of pace for them, but I definitely wouldn't call it "old school OH",,,,,thank God.

Also, be careful actually discussing beer in this thread. It's generally frowned upon by the four guys who regularly post in here.
