I'm going to assume they're using a blend of 2-3, also wouldn't be surprised if they've messed around with wlp644.

    It's 1318, not 1317 Iirc

Yea you're, right its 1318. I don't think they are using a blend of 3 because they specifically called out the fact that they used 3 strains in Alternate Side Zamboni. I would not not be surprised if they are using a blend of 2 though.

While I get that 1318 is really popular for this style and a good guess, I've always thought OH used something belgian as their house yeast given some of the other flavors.

    My guess is 644.

Don't worry, I'm sure we'll be there soon.

Any word on how Candy from Strangers is tasting?

alright if we're going to discuss beer. i had a wangies last night (can't believe i'm typing that) and it was pretty bland. there was some serious alcohol burn, no carbonation, the hops were muted by the rye and i'm not sure what the lactose/cream added to it. just a lazy execution IMO. Coming in hot was 10x better.

Sorry to ask this again, but anyone know if there are cans. Turns out I can make it today, but would need to be in and out at opening. Thanks.

That was my thought. Think I’m gonna head down and hope for cans of Ain’t Nothing Nice to have lasted as well.

This past week and the upcoming release are test runs. If these beers don’t sell quickly, OH is just going to start dumping tond of whole milk in all of their beers. We need to stop this trend and keep the lactose bros away. Go onward and buy these beers now! Keep OH making real beer instead of a weird form of dessert.

The ebb and flow of demand at these breweries is interesting. I really hope we are nearing the point at which lining up for beer will no longer be necessary. With the plethora of breweries located within driving distance hosting can releases on Saturday mornings, demand should be distributed. I think we saw it last week with the highly anticipated Hudson Valley + Equilibrium releases drawing some portion of the crowd away from OH, and I think we'll see it again this weekend with LICBP and Finback (though to a lesser extent due to their proximity + people trying to hit multiple or all three).

ISO the day when Hudson Valley, Equilibrium, LICBP, Kane, Troon, and OH all have simultaneous releases.

I've been wondering this for some time as well. I hope not either. Fingers crossed.

Why do some cans get the full label treatment and others not? You'd think their canning lines would only do one or the other.
