Welcome to the OH insanity! Soon enough you'll be bitching about allotments, case counts, Long Island license plates, or all of the above.

Saturday is the best day to ensure cans, most recommend 830 AM at the latest to guarantee cans, though many weekends you can show up later and get something -- may just not be exactly what you want. As you can see today, they sometimes have weekday releases, but those are not as set-in-stone as they every-Saturday release schedule is. Sometimes they announces weekday releases a day or few in advance, or it can be like today and be announced day of. Just don't park at McDonald's.

All this coming from a guy who's making his first visit to the taproom in 1.5 years this weekend. Keep reading -- this shit is entertaining!

Who wouldn't line up for something called All Beer Everywhere at $75 a pop?

Can releases are every Saturday, depending on what the release is and the batch sizes, some cans tend to hang out for a few days. Be on line at 8:30 if you want to make sure you get everything. Otherwise, if you want to try stuff at the taproom and maybe snag some cans, Sunday afternoon is less crazy than Saturdays but there are no guarantees on cans being available.

No. The canning line does not label, we have a separate labeler for cans. As for the can size, to reconfigure the canning line from 16 oz to 12 oz is an extreme undertaking. Everything single part of the canning line, palletizer, and rinse track has to be readjusted.

DDH Space Diamonds is such an amazing Galaxy beer. Up there with Green from Treehouse and I may prefer it when I want more of a hop dropkick to the palette.

I've had luck parking at the Gowanus Lowe's (across the canal from OH) and taking the 5 min walk over. We usually travel as a group and the walk back with more than a case can be a bit rough, so whoever drove will usually walk back and grab the car to meet us out front of the taproom.

    Sorry for slow reply, taproom!

I'd be real hesitant to park in that Lowe's parking lot. They have signs about towing and they are quite serious about it, at least on the weekdays.

Yeah, there are usually two security guard trucks driving around at any given time (probably because it's a Lowes).

The best place to park continues to be just on the other side of the expressway, west of Other Half.

Also, I was pleasantly surprised to see today's can available for draft at the same time, though maybe I'm mistaken and mixing it up with something else.

Dang, really sucks that they blocked you, but you should still be able to view their profile (since it's public) when you aren't logged in to Insta. https://www.instagram.com/otherhalfnyc/

I'm curious, what on earth do you have to say to be banned from their instagram? I could "I guess" understand a business deleting comments for whatever reason, but completely banning a customer from viewing their profile?? Do they really think anybody gives a shit enough to read through the 100 frantic ISO FT post with every 16oz can imaginable to care about the one post someone made with that might be viewed as negative or questioning their release??

This batch of Hop Showers is incredible! Seriously, seriously good. I might have to go back tomorrow.

It goes down so smooth. Mouthfeel is so juicy with no harshness, not green, and so much orange citrus .Overall the flavor profile reminds me of Hill Farmstead Double Galaxy.

Sleeper hit of the year for me from OH.

While there I had DDH Simcoe+Waiti and Wangies (extra) and they were solidly pedestrian.

This blows almost all OH beers I've had over the last several months out of the water.

Drinking one at the moment. Excellent beer. I feel like it’s better than last time round

I always loved this beer and after they tweaked the original recipe a bit it’s been damn near perfect every release. Very well balanced and stupid easy to knock a couple back.
