Damn Hop Showers was my first OH beer and still my favorite even with the tweak.

I honestly have no idea. I never comment on their threads because its just a bunch of lifeless assholes commenting ISO ISO FT FT My First Child.

I might have said something to someone when I was drunk but I never called out OH. Just lame.

Hop Showers has always been was one of my favorite OH beers. Still to this day probably their most underrated.

They've done such a good job at reinventing Hop Showers. It seems to get better and better every step of the way. Would love to see more DDH varietals make their way into regular rotation.

    +1

This one picks up right where Motueka left off. It's awesome.

Some of the purists will complain HS isnt what it was before that hazy batch, but I'd love to see this beer always available with variants, call it OH's Fort Point.

Would you approach a pack of New Jersians coming back from a kill? Hell no!

I also got blocked few weeks back, maybe about the same time. I had posted some doubt regarding the batch sizes and I'm guessing OH did not want that theory to spread. Interesting approach to say the least.

As much as I loved the OG hop showers, I love the ddh'd even more. Plus, if we keep getting the variants, it also means we get more of the elusive full can art print. And everyone knows beer out of a full printed can tastes better than a can with a sticker. Unless that sticker is pink, then all bets are off.

3+ weeks out and I'm finding the DDH DMD cans tasting not so great. seems to have lost that typical mosaic sweetness and tastes much more bitter now than when these were first canned. anyone else noticing this, or am i just crazy?

Semi related but I've also been quite underwhelmed by the last batch of ddh double mosaic daydream. Maybe I'll pop another can tonight for science. Maybe some of these mosaic hops they got were weird?

For those who have had the BBA Orbit, is the coconut prominent? I am thinking about heading over there tomorrow to grab a couple bottles, but the coconut is the primary reason. Most coconut stouts/porters I've had the coconut is barely detectable (Death by Coconut and No Rules Vietnamese) but the few that I've had where it's the prominent flavor I have really enjoyed (Last Snow and Norm).

Also if anyone is at the taproom tonight and can give an update if bottles are still available that'd be greatly appreciated!

The coconut is somewhat prominent. I found it to be more prominent than no rules or last year's in absentia with coconut/cardamom but less prominent than last snow or snowbirds.

Thanks, given the high praise it's received on here I figured it's at least worth picking up a bottle or two. I'm always a bit weary when it comes to OH bottle offerings since they are usually decent to good, but pretty pricey for $/oz. Hopefully there will still be a few bottles available tomorrow.

I'm drinking my third can of it tonight, and while I would agree that my previous two cans were slightly under-par, this third can is tasting fantastic.

Loving the new vic secret hop showers!!

BBA Orbit is very coconut forward. As the beer sat in the glass I could see some of the residual oils from the coconut flakes. 8oz cans of BBA Orbit would be perfect.
