While I've learned via tracking Mike Pence's tweet total for the week that I'm quick to overreact to and embrace new trends, it wouldn't surprise me if this became the new normal for weekend's with upstate (or island) can releases. I think it's especially likely when they're bringing as many kegs as they did.

But like at @jrnyc said, it's almost always been the case that Saturday releases are the norm.

Got a taster of Citra+Azacca tonight and that was unbelievably delicious, like fruity hop ambrosia. Might be my favorite dual hop they've done. If you didn't get cans I want to strongly recommend it in whatever format you can get it in.

I'm drinking one right now and really enjoying it as well. I don't know if it's just the fruity notes it's reminding me of, but it's tasting a tad more acidic than many of their dipas.

I was there tonight with a bunch of stout loving, IPA shunning friends. Here's what happened... short dark and wired was well received but holy smokes, Bad Decisions. Wow. What an incredible imperial stout OH has put forth. For those who say OH can't make a top tier stout, I implore you to search this one out.

Of the IPAs I sipped on tonight, I'd rank them as ddh space diamonds>ddh broccoli>ddh space daydream. The diamonds never disappoint, and I finally got to truly enjoy a broccoli offering, where in the past I was slightly underwhelmed. This one was incredible.

super curious about Simcoe and Idaho 7.

I am guessing, Oh... will be a midweek? Given that it's 6 beers, and Forever Ever was also most likely planned for this week as well

Probably Midweek Oh... if I had to guess or they're planning another mobile release. Need to get my hands on some Triple Cream though.

Does a mobile release affect their normal Brooklyn release in any way? E.g. less allotments in Brooklyn, less POS’s for a slower line?

I had planned on going that weekend and now could potentially have second thoughts.

This past weekend is the only time it really seemed a bit different for the Brooklyn release, but that also could have just been because of the holiday weekend. I think you will probably be ok if I had to guess.

There are no mobile releases schedule for this weekend. Typically they are announced 2+ weeks in advance and are also accompanied by a tab takeover. When a mobile release is scheduled, Brooklyn gets a full spread of cans. In fact, the mobile release has been much smaller in size and scope than what's offered in Brooklyn.

Secondly, we most certainly are in for a midweek drop, DDH Oh... and DDH DMD are the likeliest suspects.

A tab takeover sounds way better than a tap takeover
