Thanks for the replies - will have to try and keep some space free. Could undoubtedly trade them easily back in London it's just a bit of extra hassle!

or..you could always ask people you're in line with if they want some mixed 4 packs. New Yorkers aren't as rude as the preceding reputation we get. (well, most of us anyway)

This. If you are planning on hitting up any saturday release while you are there and are bringing some cloudwater, northern monk (the OH collab especially), or any other cool UK stuff with you, I would be happy to share a few beers in line and help you out with single cans if you wanted

PS - even if you didnt have any UK stuff with you I still would help... at least I am pretty sure I would still help

Haha, thanks, unfortunately I'm only there mid-week (Tuesday-Thursday). Could consider bringing a small amount of UK/London stuff over if you or anyone else was interested although I'm travelling around for 10 days or so before reaching NYC, so it may not be in the best condition by the time I get there!

Gotcha. Unfortunately it is hard for me to get there during the week usually with my work schedule. Good luck! Even if you cant get single cans you will be able to taste a bunch of beers and then hopefully get some cans of one you liked.

Confirming tasting amazing - best since batch 1. I almost skipped out on it since last batch wasn’t great but glad my optimism lead that descision

Coming from Los Angeles and I’ve done Monkish lines but not Other half. I’ll be in town for the Friday release and need some guidance. I read earlier in this thread that getting in line by around 8:30am for a 10am Saturday would be fine for getting a shot at all cans released (I don’t plan to max but I want all available to order).

What time should I get there now that it’s a Friday noon release 10:30am? Earlier or later since people will working? I’d rather spend less time in line on my vacation.

I haven’t had any of the 5 cans coming this Friday and since the limits are much higher then Monkish which are most liked to get more? Sounds like space diamonds and stacks on stacks? Any chance any will be on Thursday night to try?

I think it's safe to say you can arrive 30 minutes before noon and still get everything. In fact, I imagine everything should last for quite some time after opening.

I'd hate to be wrong about this, but I'm guessing you can show up at noon and be just fine with all of the beers. I think 1030 is more than safe, and you can always check on IG/BA for line updates to be sure. I'm planning to stop in after work at 6 or so, but not sure if everything will be left by then.

DDH Double Citra Daydream is probably the most coveted beer from this release, but personally I think the DDH Space Diamonds is the best of the bunch (based on previous batches). It just depends on which hop you like better - Galaxy or Citra?
