What’s the mid week experience like? Can I expect to be in and out with ease or should I expect to wait in line if I get there at noon?

I've never actually been at open during the week but I think there might be a short line at open? Its nothing like a Saturday release so I imagine you'd be in and out in 10-15 mins at the most.

How is The Other Day? Don't think I've heard much about it last time it was released

The first batch definitely had more of a "classic" OH IPA feel to it. If you are tired of the DDH lactose bombs and are looking for something a little more balanced this is for you. I wouldn't go as far as saying it's like old batches of Green Diamonds, but it's definitely not the fruit cocktail/juice most of the newer beers lean towards. It was a nice change of pace, but who knows if this batch will be "more dialed in".

Sounds right up my alley right now. I've been weaning off "juice bombs" and have been getting really tired of the lactose craze. Had Carton's Odub this past weekend and I haven't been that excited over a beer in a while. It's nice to just have a well balanced IPA.

FWIW I went a couple of weeks ago around 12/12:30 for Mylar Daydream and there were like 2 people at the register in front of me. Very chill.

Had never tried Mosaic Daydream in previous batches, but damn is that a tasty 6%er!!! I love it when OH nails it on the regular ol' single IPAs, I care a lot more about ABV than lactose or oats, etc in terms of what I consider drinkable...

Also definitely want to join the chorus calling for a return of the single-hop single IPAs. Does any other brewery focus so damn much on double and triple IPAs?

OH hates their out of town customers.

Snark aside, this is consistent with what someone wrote a while back: OH is increasing its production with the goal of having (cans/take-away) almost all the time. This is a wonderful thing.

Too long of a ride on too short a notice. I have two kids to pick up from school.

Not sure what your schedule looks like the rest of the week but it will still be available tomorrow and most likely Friday at open. I think almost every mid-week release is still available come Saturday and sometimes even longer. Have we finally reached the Golden Age of OH? Stay tuned for more...

I’m going to Threes on Friday mid-afternoon, so if there is anything available at OH, can-wise, I may take the G and then cab it from there. Having dinner with some friends that evening.
Lol, too, ended up running to Sand City anyway just now since that’s a much quicker trip for me.

I was about to say "ummm care to elaborate" until I realized the good stuff was a link haha.

Liked that they said a stout festival and wild ale festival could be coming in the future.

Wondering if Other Half will ever start their own Permutation/Curiosity experimental mini-series.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. At the very least it would be a nice draft only series.
