I picked up some crickets today but haven't tried it yet... saving it for the potential boat ride I may or may not be taking this weekend. Employee there I know even asked, "you came down for the pilsner?" Crickets may be the best name of any OH beer for obvious reasons.

Finally getting around to my first Citraho7. Smooth as all hell. Delicious.

I also bought a 4 pack and I typically offer a can to friends I trade with and they all declined. Crickets indeed! I look forward to it during the summer months / golf outings.

Agreed. I'm hoping a little time will help it out, but I'm not very optimistic considering how malty it was fresh.

I will line up this weekend after an overnight shift at work just for the Triple Mosaic Daydeam. DDH DMDD is my favorite OH beer, and OH does an amazing job with their 10%+ beers. Super excited for this one.

So, anybody actually try the Pilsner yet? Anyone? Anyone?

(And yes, I fully expect the answer to be...wait for it...crickets.)

Thought about driving up after work yesterday but instead of fighting traffic I decided to just pick up some Metric from my local store. The NZ hops sound like they might add an interesting layer but I’ll have to hope to pick some up in a few weeks when I hit a saturday release.

How about anyone try the damn oat wine? I swear I will buy a bottle this weekend if you guys don't do it and tell me if it's any good.

Tried to go to and pick up some Crickets yesterday but the Brooklyn bound F train was basically dead so I ended up bailing. Wish there were some more options of trains to get to OH since there has been times were I just literally can't get there.

Hopefully Crickets lives up to its name and I can snag some on Sunday evening.

FWIW the walk from Prospect Ave (R train; not great but an alternative nonetheless) is about 15/20m walk from OH (depending on your pace).

Is 9th street not closer? Either way agreed. Plus there’s a bus from downtown Brooklyn that stops close too

Hadn't even thought of that (since I live closer to Prospect). On Google Maps it is indeed a little bit shorter (14m vs 16m).

At any rate if you're not coming from south of Prospect I would recommend getting off at 9th, as it's a much more pleasant walk down 9th Street over to Smith. Unless you really enjoy the ambiance of the elevated highway over Hamilton.

Yeah, if the F train is screwed the other option is walk it up 9th st to the R.

Worse is when the R train isn’t running on the weekends so you get dumped at 4th av/9th.

As opposed to the “usual” R spot on 9th street and....?

Can anyone confirm any double batches for tomorrow?

Kanger doesn't work for Other Half anymore so we have no inside intel anymore but based on what Andrew has said about trying their best to make the beer the most people want the most available I would guess that at least the Cellermaker collab is a double batch.
