God damn it. I'm an actual cashew advocate so when I saw that link I cracked my knuckles, clicked, and got my brain into "Register" mode.

Guess this is gonna have to be a *DIY project.

 

What is the difference between DIY and DYI and how are cashews associated?

So, is it just me or is Indigo Hands kinda, bad?

 

Since we’re doing the whole disappointment thing - I like this HS, but some of you talked it up too hard

 

I wouldn’t say bad. But definitely sub par by OH standards. Sort of that beer where if you went to some random brewery with low expectations and this was their NEIPA you’d be pleasantly surprised

 

Whoops yeah, accidentally deleted...Space Daydream isn't very good to me.

 

I’ll keep it going, Small Citra is just ok. I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

 

I kinda see your point. But it would have to be a new brewery. Definitely the worst OH I have had. Unfortunately the badness was overshadowed by interboro's The Vapors, which I couldn't finish.

actually, ive really enjoyed all the beers i’ve easily purchased from OH recently. i really liked the non-traditional kolschs that they do. space daydream and hop showers simcoe were exactly what i was expecting. SCE was nice but a little to green and will be super crushable in a week.

tl:dr; beer scene is awesome for brooklyn locals

Maybe it's old man way of thinking, but I find some comfort in having a old reliable with a little bit of razzle... This probably why I like the Half + Half IIPAs. Lately the crazy razzle dazzle brews with 12 different hops and malts are too much for my palate. Also Simcoe is really speaking to me this year.

 

I think the Moteuka variant has been the best variant so far, but I think it was also the first one and maybe its just me being batch 1 is better.

 

I’m totally with you and I love HS and some of the variants. Just this one didn’t quite hit it for me. Maybe will feel differently after the next one. Only one beer into the 4 pack

 

To each their own I suppose. I liked Grape Conversate.
